Memory still doesn't work correctly which has been ongoing for months. Now an update for fan Xpert and I can't access fan control at all. Has to be the worst software I have ever used. Nothing but problems persistently.

New HAL version applied today, but still changing from one color to another the GSkill memory does not follow to the new color. Still can not get fan Xpert 4 to load. Still a buggy mess.

Uninstalled and reinstalled today. No change in behavior. Same problems.

Has it ever worked properly with an older version (e.g., 6.1.13.0) using FanXpert4?
Are your fans, etc., connected via a fan controller hub or plugged directly into the motherboard?
AC seems to have some issues with fan controllers, as I've read in other forums.
Do you happen to be using Corsair fans, etc.?
The fact that AuraSync doesn't always control the RAM has been a problem with ArmouryCrate for a while. It's hard to know which RAM to use to ensure it always works.
The Asus Ambient HAL update only improves the use of Windows Dynamic Lighting. That is, controlling your mouse, etc., via Windows 11.
It doesn't help with RGB on RAM, motherboard, fans, etc., as Windows Dynamic Lighting doesn't have access to these.

It was working well before the last 2 major updates. Had no problems previously but we are talking about February or March. It has been a mess since then. My CPU fans are directly connected to the MB and never had issues with fan xpert before these updates as well. I have fan controllers but that is for other fans in the system. CPU and CPU opt fans are on the MB via fan xpert. I am using EK fans. RAM control was never an issue before the last 3 to 4 months when these new updates came out. Thanks for your response. Much appreciated!

Also note that sometimes fan xpert never loads correctly and sometimes it does. I ran the fan calibration utility in fan xpert and adjusted fans accordingly after the update in the last 2 days, but after a reboot it asked me to run the calibration again as if I had never done it. Memory worked well until a reboot and it does not follow the selected static color now of course. It is a mess.

Which updates do you mean, the major updates for ArmouryCrate (6.1.13.0 and 6.1.18.0) or updates to the plug-ins and FanXpert4 in ArmouryCrate?
FanXpert4 has received several updates in the past few months.
Hence the question.
If the problem has existed since version 6 of ArmouryCrate, then you probably only had ArmouryCrate 5.9.14.0 running smoothly and usably until then.
One can only hope that a more recent update to ArmouryCrate will finally fix this, because if the fans aren't controlled correctly by ArmouryCrate, it's not so great for the hardware you're cooling if you have to run the calibration every time you start it up.
FanXpert4 is always fully functional for me, but my tower fans (4x 140mm), the 360 AiO fans, are connected directly to the mainboard, without a controller in between.
I am not referring to the major updates 6.1.13 or 6.1.18. There have been periodic updates or plug ins which have installed themselves when updating the app in general. And you are correct, whatever version there was before these was running smoothly. No issues with fans which are plugged directly into the MB or memory lighting at all. Worked very well previously.
