Hey.. I was able to fix this same issue today by using the removal tool for AC to uninstall and then downloading the latest version of AC from the AC site and all the other updates worked fine after.

same problem here.
The update cannot be installed even though there is a stable internet connection. There's never been anything like this before.
But Asus really screwed something up.
I will not uninstall ArmoryCrate to get the update and fix this error, which is obviously Asus' fault.
Addendum:
The latest Armory Crate updates were rolled out via the Windows Store. And now they come back directly through the program?
Someone should understand that. Especially since Armory Crate can no longer be found in the Windows Store.
I think the problem is that we can't update it because it was originally updated via the Windows Store and now directly from the program.

Have the same thing. I agree that resetting motherboard to fix this, as was suggested early in the thread is not appropriate solution (and probably has no relevance even). Reinstalling the app is also a crappy solution, because... Why would anyone even bother with that, if the person is not a tinkerer? But the likelihood of this being fixed by ASUS is abysmally small.

AmouryCrate 5.8.9.0 works and is usable.
Only the current update cannot be installed (for whatever reason), as can be seen from the posts.
The fact is, Asus has messed up here and I don't see why we users should have to pay for it by uninstalling and reinstalling everything, etc. (especially since many users would then have to make various settings again)
Crap was programmed here and Asus should fix it.
ArmoryCrate has full internet access for me. I was able to check this by simply installing one of the utilities offered, because it worked.
Checking for updates also works with ArmoryCrate, but installing version 5.8.9.5 doesn't work.
So ArmoryCrate's updater is simply faulty because it spits out this message.

Same here. Windows 10 updated the App, and then there were driver updates in Armoury Crate, but when I try and update I get the same error as you do.
