Can't update the Armoury Crate

It keeps showing unable to connect to the internet but I checked my firewall it should be work. I have tried to turned off my router and turn on again but it still not working. And I have already reinstall the AC.

I have the same problem. Only "Asus Unify DGII" cannot be updated.

Same here error 0x800421f7. I had this issue and decide to uninstall and reinstall it. Now cant install the app. Great things happened here. 🙂

Yes, me too. I have some new led's i am trying to experiment. Finally have the time to check them out, and Aura Creator will not launch until the update has completed. If I did reinstall Armoury Crate, I kid you not, this would easily be the 15th time since May of 2023. I am manually having to keep the Aura files backed up, and I have the ability to bring the Aura Effects back, and reconfigure Armoury Crate, but I really don't want to do it this time. I would like Asus to fix the deployed setup executable, and move us all forward properly. I was already waiting for an update to see if it fixed that issue where every other Armoury Crate update will cause the idle temps of cpu / thermistor to go up 2 degrees from where I had em, especially with AC open, and it is causing something to raise the wattage given the cpu, and it is a bummer... so Asus, let's just get that AC setup fixed.

having this pc for 3 years and never have i had this problem before. Do i need to uninstall or just wait this out? also did u get it fixed?

If you're having issues updating Armoury Crate, the solution in this thread is to use the Armoury Crate uninstall tool and reinstall Armoury Crate.

Click the link below and click "Show all" in blue, the uninstall tool is the third download.

Armoury Crate - Support (asus.com)

Once uninstalled, restart your pc and install Armoury Crate version 3.2.11.2 (first download), then go to the Armoury Crate update center and check for updates.

Sorry but this didnt work for me. I get the following screen. Every time i open the armoury crate opens the installer. I install it every time and finally sows me the attached image. And the app doesnt works at all.  Please can you help?

So just re-install like every 2 months when it won't update or there's some other error. I'm really disappointed with asus software.

well, what do you expect from a community moderator that doesnt has any knowledge of the software?

if they really wanted to solve the issue they would ask for log files to understand the error. I found some at "C:\ProgramData\ASUS\SCD\" folder, which indicates that actually this error has nothing to do with internet connection itself, but its caused by a previously failed update attempt.
