Hey,
I recently purchased a Rog Ryujin III Extreme, finally got it set up, and am struggling to change the fan RGB colors right now.
See the attached screenshot for my MOBA I've highlighted which ports are connected where.
SYS_FAN2 = 1st radiator fan connector
CPU_FAN = pump ventilator connector
D_LED2 = 2nd radiator RGB connector
F_USB1 = the USB connector;
Armory Crate detects the Rog Ryujin III Extreme, and I can change RPM for both fans and change the display image.
I've updated both the AIO cooler and app to the latest version.
Windows Bluetooth devices and device manager detect the AIO cooler
Im out of options at this point, would highly appreciate any help here.
Thanks in advance.

What exactly is the problem you're having with the RGB color settings?
Is the AiO not recognized in AuraSync?
Please post a screenshot of the "Device" and "AuraSync" sections from Armoury Crate so you can see what RGB is recognized there.
But the case fans, etc., can be controlled smoothly, right?

Hey, @inge70
As you already mentioned, AIO is not recognized in Aura sync.
The case fans are controlled through NZXT CAM. The only issue with them is that fan RPM maxes out when the PC is turned on, but right now I'm trying to figure out the AuraSync and AIO issue.

Then please continue manually searching for updates in Armoury Crate until the corresponding plugin is available.
Without it, you can't adjust RGB.
Unfortunately, Asus hasn't done a good job here, as you always have to search for these plug-ins separately using a manual update search in Armoury Crate.
The corresponding Aura Sync plugin should also be installed immediately as soon as Armoury Crate detects the new hardware, as it does under "Devices" in your case.
Unfortunately, that's not the case now, and you'll have to do it.
Several times if necessary.

For the fan color changes, you need to use Aorus app to control the lights. Ac will NOT control the lights of aorus board or another brand that is not asus. you can control the aio menu. since is plug to the board by usb. the lights on the ram is posible since is the same data from all board. aorus new boards. msi also.. but fan speed and color of the light you need aorus GA app
If the menu of the aio is not present on devices, that is the menu to enter the aio to change the display, i will recommend te following.
1. make sure windows are up to date (24h2 preferred) I will not mention w10 since is almost out of service.
2. bios up to date. check the aours page sadly most new bios fixes does not exist.
3. drivers. sadly almost most oem does not support drivers on their website. you can use, as personal note the mockichu drivers since are intel only and can be use on all brand, MINUS the audio. also make sure gpu (intel/amd/nvidia are up to date)
If this does not work, since have 1 computer on z390 with ac (asus produts are working with no issue and i did have it on a msi carbon z390 working ok the 3 products. including the ram color)
As today. the z390 have the following drivers only and yes you can ONLY use this one NO AUDIO sorry. you can get this on forusm or the alternative website and does work perfect.
1. Intel Chipset Drivers : Package : 10.1.20062.8627 WHQL [05/12/2024]
2. Intel Serial IO Drivers (Drivers Only) 30.100.2132.2 WHQL [02/08/2021]
3. Intel MEI Driver (drivers Only): 2512.7.3.0 WHQL [20/03/2025]
4. Intel ME Consumer Firmware 12.0.96.2562 [25/08/2024] (this one is permanent) once install can not be remove
If after the the aio menu DOES NOT APPEAR please contact asus support direct for aio menu.
Again: lights are control by board oem lights software not asus since is the asus app. if you have nzxt box, nzxt app. if you lian li box, lian li app etc.

Oh ******, I missed that it has an Arous mainboard, so it's not an Asus. 😲
Well, at least you noticed. 😉

glad you see check it. but yes, ram lights will appear on some legacy board since is reading the ram.... no the board. i discover this 5 years agon on the z390 msi carbon. and i think was a nice touch. later i find out that the app was reading the ram.... no the board. the dashboard will read the data from the board. specs bios version, but that is much about it. i did discover other areas but that is not the focus of the post
