I have the newest version of Armory Crate and everything updated. Month old computer.
I love the aura effect for music so I'm using that.
It works just fine with my motherboartd ROG STRIX B450-F II and keyboard TUF GAMING K5 when I set it up.
However the effects randomly stop and I am not able to figure out why. It has to do something with Windows 11 and their powersaving (I think). Because whenever I go to sleep mode and turn the PC again, the effects load.
It's just that whatever I do, after some time the RGB effects stop working and I have to open Armoury Crate and turn them on again.
I have no other RGB software installed.
HOW DO I RESOLVE THIS?
Been having issues with Armoury Crate for the past 5 years and the bugs still persist. I have no idea who's getting paid for development of this software but they probably shouldn't, because it's buggy as hell.
By the way, one time I uninstalled Armoury Crate, for some reason I was so lucky that the RGB settings persisted, so I was without the buggy software and with funcioning RGB effects. Unfortunately I was forced to install AC again. HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE. Frankly, this would be the best option - uninstall the bad software but keep my settings. If that's possible, let me know how please.
Btw before I ended writing this post, the aura effect stopped working again. Around 5 minutes of functionality. After song ended in WMP (Legacy) it just stopped working. Maybe THAT is related??

BTW I went to settings - services in windows and restarted ARMOURY CRATE Service and the lights went on.
So it's definitely something there! But what and how to fix it?
BTW the RGB turned off again while I was writing this lol
a month ago
OK it's not Windows Media Player, it really happens randomly with any other audio software.
Any chance somebody from this multi-million company will finally fix this buggy software after 7 years?
