In short: Fans won't raise to 8000 rpm on turbo when they need to even though they're able to. (Have had it for 2 years and I haven't cared about the noise so it would run as fast as possible, now I can tell by the noise that they have dropped and indeed you can see that they are at natural 6000 rpm ON TURBO)
Hi, I've had this laptop for about 2 years I believe, and I've always just had it on turbo whilst gaming where it would have reached ca. 8000 rpm. Now out of the blue it has decided to stop that, whenever I put turbo on it will speed up to 8000 rpm for a bit but then slow down again, it doesn't matter whether my CPU is at 95 Celsius and GPU at 88 Celsius, it won't raise to 8000 rpm even though I'm playing a game both power demanding and not power demanding games.
This is making me sad as I've been checking for a few days and there seem to be no solution, I've looked at my BIOS and Power Plan and everything, but it seems like it is how it should be.
The only two recent things which I've changed has been the NVIDIA Control Panel program which they redesigned and Armoury Crate Version: 5.9.9.0.
As you can see in the bottom right it's a 'minute's' difference between when the fans decide to fall down. The upper picture is 5 seconds after I put turbo on, the picture below shows 30 seconds after turbo has been on.

Just made a diagnostics check of my fans on MyAsus and it said they were fine; it was also very obvious to hear that they responded to the actions given to it. The maximum speed was 8.2k rpm and it sounded like it used to sound but when I try and put it on Turbo and play a demanding game it still deliberately chooses to stay under 6k rpm for the CPU and under 6.5k for the GPU.
So, I personally believe it's a problem with Armoury Crate, but it doesn't give sense because nothing has changed since a weeks ago. I also decided to reinstall Armoury Crate (Following the way Rog says to do so) and am now on 5.9.8.0 which still offers no difference.
