Asus ROG Strix scope NX wireless deluxe firmware 12.32.03

Hello,

I have a question / couple issues with my new keyboard that I just got today.

[1] I'm not sure if its charging or not. It just shows 50% for the last few hours of charging

[2] it will only work when its connected to power/PC via USB cable, once I disconnect the cable it goes dark and it will not work anymore. Tried Bluetooth and it will not connect to me PC

[3] I'm not sure if 12.32.03 is the latest firmware or not?

Any help would be highly appreciated

And the dongle firmware is 2.00.05

With the cable disconnected, have you set the wireless switch on your keyboard to 2.4GHz wireless mode?

Make sure the wireless dongle is connected to a pc usb port.

Yes, I have set the keyboard to 2.4Hz wireless mode and the dongle is installed into the PC.

I also tried reinstalling the Armoury Crate to no avail

No I'm beging to suspect that maybe the keyboard battery is the issue, becuase if the keyboard is connected to a USB power (Not PC) it wouold work under 2.4 mode (I'm also having issues connecting the keyboard via BT)

Or maybe something happened during the firmware update .

Also, if the keyboard is discounted from the PC or USB power, it stops working

Try letting the cable connected to see if the battery will fully charge.

You can check the battery percentage on the power tab. With the cable connected, it should show that the battery is charging.

The battery percentage is on 50% and will not move ... Its a dead battery

With the issues you're having, it does seem like it's the battery, which in this case you might want to contact the store you purchased it from.

Store warranty is usually 30 days. Contact them and explain the problem, they should offer a replacement.

So it was a dead battery ... and I just switched to Claymore II 🙂 and that keyboard is absolutely great!
