Asus Rog Strix Scar 18 Armory Crate 5.9.9.0; Aura lighting disabled after a few sleep/wake sessions

Rappture
Level 8

I've noticed that after the scar 18 (2024) enters sleep mode, awoken, then sleeps and awakens a few times, the aura sync lighting is disabled and the system displays Windows Dynamic Lighting profile.  Strangely, when this happens and you enter Armory Crate (5.9.9.0), and check under Aura Sync, the profile for my laptop (834JZR) is missing from aura sync, so it's impossible to toggle the aura sync on and off which I find I have to do sometimes after being in sleep mode for the aura sync profile to be enabled.

I've also noticed that when you go into settings of armory crate and check under update, all the device and components are missing.

To get the aura sync lighting working again, I've tried restarting lightingservice.exe multiple times, restarting other various Asus services and obviously, restarting the computer.  Restarting the computer does always fix the problem but it's a pain and it shouldn't be necessary.

I started looking through the many Asus folders/files in C:\eSupport\eDriver\ and found that under C:\eSupport\eDriver\Software\Win32App\ASUS\ROGLiveService pack\2.3.6.0\15537\AuraLayerManager if you execute AuraLayerManagerUpdater, it will bring back the laptop profile in aura sync inside of armory crate and the aura sync lighting starts to work again.  However, it does not bring back the missing devices and components under update center.

This is the LightingService.log found at C:\ProgramData\Asus\Armoury Crate Diagnosis\LightingService

LightingService.log

From what I've noticed, at one point I found that the log showed a failure to create a HAL, a failure to correctly identify the device as is evidenced from this line:

device_id ==> WDL_NB_KB_RGB_LIGHTING

I'm not POSITIVE this is related but I think it might be.  The following log shows a particular error that repeated itself around the time I woke the computer from sleep and the LED's stopped responding to AC...

C:\ProgramData\Asus\Armoury Crate Diagnosis\AACAmbientHAL.log

2024-09-30 03:20:53,072 [AacAmbientHal][3.4.0.0]-[AacAmbientHal][UpdateCurrentServer] connecting... fail. 10061....

Then about 30 mins later the error ceased...

2024-09-30 04:01:07,083 [AacAmbientHal][3.4.0.0]-[AacAmbientHal][UpdateCurrentServer] connecting...
2024-09-30 04:01:07,084 [AacAmbientHal][3.4.0.0]-[AacAmbientHal][UpdateCurrentServer] connecting... done. ok.

I'm kind of driving myself crazy trying to figure out why my laptop's aura sync profile disappears from AC after awakening the computer.  One interesting thing is, if you go into Windows settings to Dynamic Lighting and toggle the switch off, the last basic effect you had enabled in aura sync starts to be displayed on the LED's.  When you turn the switch back on it defaults to Windows Dynamic Lighting profile that you have selected even though I have Armory Crate as the first sequential RGB app in WDL.

ANY help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
