Hi together,
this seems to be an absolute edge-case, because I haven't found anything similar.
I use an USB Switch with 4 ports, to switch from my gaming pc to my laptop (peripheral devices such as, mouse, keyboard, usb-headphone, webcam). Since I bought my new keyboard ASUS Flare II Animate, the onboard scrollwheel for audio volume only changes my headphone volume. My standard audio device and current device is a creative soundblaster. I also tested with onboard Asus sound card. The Asus Chakram Origin X has also some volume buttons and they act exactly the same.
Only my headphone devices volume is changed 😕 ... When I take the dongle from the headset and put it into any usb, which is not the usb switch, it works as it should and the volume of my current selected device is changed.
Before, I had a Razor keyboard, also connected to the USB Switch, which worked perfectly fine. So with all that information, I believe this can only be an Armoury Crate issue.
Can anybody help, or has another idea?

Well, the riddle has been solved after hours of investigation and sort of coinsidance ^^
The USB-HUB had an additional 5 Volt connector, for power hungry devices. Since I had the Asus Chakram, this sort of caused the issue, because the mouse required to charge the battery. It never had enough power to really charge the mouse and for some really weird reason, that also caused the issue with the volume. After I plugged in a micro-usb cable to deliver 5 volt extra for the hub, no issues and also the mouse was charging as intended.
