A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.
Please Read First:
Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) Downloads page
Armoury Crate MUST run from Admin account, and NOT Standard account under Windows.
DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:
1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE to submit a form. Upload log file to your cloud service if too large then provide the link in a .txt file then attach to form. *** Make sure to remove access permissions and time limits. ***
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple forms for the same issue).
10. Log in to the ROG Forum regularly and check your inbox in case there are updates for your case or more info is requested.

How to record a log
First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

* Please note that all updates require extensive testing on various systems with different configurations (virtually everyone has a unique system configuration) which takes time, and need to be released to every user around the world (updates may fail on specific systems which results in delays). Also, we understand that users do not want to see updates that frequently, and therefore, updates with multiple patches are generally packaged together then released at the same time. Unless a critical fix required, it is highly unlikely for your issue to be resolved within one or a few days. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Armoury Crate on my no longer functions. I get a message that I need to perform updates every time I try to go to Fan Expert or my mothereboard. It appears that I'm missing the plug-in for Fan Expert and for my motherboard - see photo. All of this happened after AC updated itself.
I have used the uninstall tool, rebooted, then re-installed and nothing has helped with the problem. Not sure how to upload or attach a log but I have saved a log after recreating the problem in AC. The photo below shows all of the installed plug-ins.

In Armoury Crate go to "Settings" on the left and in the next window, click "About."
There, click "Check" and post the diagnostic log here. There you'll see all the individual AC components installed.
Otherwise, the only solution is often to manually search for updates in Armoury Crate under Update Center.
Unfortunately, it always takes some time until all the latest components are available.

Re-read the instructions and uploaded a log with all of the requested data. Suggestions that imply that a log can be uploaded from within Armoury Crate are incorrect. You must use the link to the Google Form that is contained in the instructions at the top of this thread.

Same can't open Asi03.sys error for me at boot now. Thanks for the update, now Crate is broken on my system. Try to start the program and it just hangs there. Also a system restore, did not help.

Hello, I'm writing this comment to report an issue I'm having with the new update.
I updated Armoury Crate and began experiencing a sharp drop in performance on my PC. Disk usage was almost always at 100%, with low write and read speeds in KB/s. When running video games or simple applications like Spotify, Mail, or WhatsApp, they took a long time to open, something that never happened before. The worst part was that when I started the PC, what used to start quickly in just a few seconds, took up to 7 minutes to load startup applications and services. 7 minutes! for a PC with 32GB RAM, an AMD RYZEN 7 5700G, and a 1TB SSD. When I started the desktop, the Windows taskbar took about 2 minutes to appear. I found it incredible that something like this could happen, the detailed analysis of my antivirus ruled out any malware, I analyzed the status of my SSD (XPG Gammix S50), I executed several CMD commands to resolve system problems, I used a restore point and none of the above helped me with the problem, everything was correct. I solved my problem by completely uninstalling ArmouryCrate, but when I reinstalled the problem reappears and ruins the performance of my computer. My motherboard is the ASUS ROG STRIX B-550 GAMING WIFI II. Sorry if there are problems in the writing, I have translated this from Spanish.

I filled out the Google form and submitted it just now. I cannot capture the problem by logging the issue because it will not fail when I log the issue. Every version of Armoury Crate since March 2025 until June 2025 often crashes at computer startup, with version 6.2.7.0 included. Sometimes it will go a week without crashing and then start crashing again. Also, the submit button in Armoury Crate Feedback Hub does not work in Armoury Crate version 6.2.7.0. Armoury Crate will not register the B860M MAX GAMING AX motherboard serial number, which is all numbers.

The feedback submitted fine on my end, did you replicate that while recording your log? Also, try again to see if it works now.
Regarding the crashes, we will need a Lite log for that - see instructions above (Lite Log Tool)
