5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE to submit a form. Upload log file to your cloud service if too large then provide the link.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
How to record a log
First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)

Previously reported issues have not been resolved at all. Similarly, ROG RYUJIN II 360 connection delay occurs. I have to wait more than 30 minutes for the device page to connect.
At that time, after raising the issue and submitting the log file about the defect, it seemed to get better after a few additional updates, but the same problem occurred again.
I don't understand why they ruin the program to the point where a perfectly good product can't be used. If you sell a product, shouldn't you improve the program so that it can be used normally? It's not just some bug, but the connection itself is delayed for more than 30 minutes, so what do you want me to do if you leave it like that without resolving it?
I know that it's difficult to track down the issue because there are many products that are linked, but is there no QA team that reviews and verifies the resolved issues again?
Please prioritize resolving the issue instead of just continuously requesting log files.

Then let's start with problems:
Now it's starting for me.
I set the RGB to "SMART" in ArmouryCrate - Aura Effects and the CPU as the temperature source (see screenshot):
Up until now, the RGB color was green below 50 degrees, yellow from 50 degrees and red from 80 degrees.
This has always been displayed by the motherboard, case fan, AiO and GPU.
It was like this until about 6 p.m. today and has been for a year. Everything was fine.
The PC was in IDLE in the afternoon and when I went to the PC at around 8:30 p.m., the RGBs suddenly showed the "rainbow" mode.
So I quickly checked in Armoury Crate, but nothing had changed. Everything was set to "SMART" like I always had it set to.
I don't understand why the "rainbow" effect suddenly appeared despite the "SMART" setting.
I then clicked on "SMART" again and the RGB's showed everything as they should again.
Let's see how long it stays like this.
The only update that came to ArmouryCrate today was an update for "Asus Framework Service" v. 4.2.0.4 (see screenshot):
It may have something to do with that, I don't know.
What was programmed that caused ArmouryCrate to suddenly no longer save the settings in AuraSync?
Mainboard Asus Rog Strix Z790-F Gaming Wifi has had UEFI v. 2602 BETA since it came out, but the sudden, independent change of the RGB setting has never happened before. I use Windows 11 Pro 64bit 24H2 Build 26100.2152, all drivers are up to date and there are no other problems, except for AuraSync effects that start automatically even though something else is set.
That's really rubbish.
Here are my diagnostic results for Asus Armoury Crate:

Edit:
Since this incident (Aura Effects automatically switch to "Rainbow"), about 11 hours have passed and the Aura Effects are still on "SMART", as I set them.
Why this happened without anything being changed in Aura Effects is still a mystery to me.
Edit 2:
The case I described has not occurred again so far.
The PC has been running continuously since October 15, 2024 and the set aura effects have been retained. There was no longer an independent switch to "rainbow".
The problem may have been solved because I had rebooted the PC once after my post above and the last update "Asus Framework Service" v. 4.2.0.4 was better integrated. I think that this update triggered the problem because the PC was not rebooted afterwards.

Hello,
last bios have "Windows Dynamic Lightning" option on the Aura Config Bios Tab.
Could it interact with AC config ?

No, this feature is deactivated in my BIOS/UEFI.
I never had it active either, because I do everything via AmouryCrate and the RGBs were set to "Smart" once and have stayed that way since then, because that way the RGBs change color according to the temperature of the CPU. That way I always have a visual check without having to use a tool every time I use the PC.
The "Rainbow" effect is the default setting on my motherboard by Asus as long as the PC is booting or you are in the BIOS/UEFI. This setting cannot be changed and the selected "Smart" effect (or another effect) is only used when Windows has started and the ArmouryCrate and Aura Sync services are running.
There must be another reason why the RGB setting changed on its own without the PC being rebooted or anything being installed.
The settings were all correct in ArmouryCrate, but the RGBs showed the "Rainbow" mode again instead of using the "SMART" setting.
I then clicked on "Smart" repeatedly and the display changed back to the desired format.
But even if you had "Windows Dynamic Lightning" active, the previously defined setting, which could then be done via Windows, should not change on its own and thereby override the actual setting (in my case "Smart") and show "rainbows".
I will just keep an eye on it. I have never had anything like this happen on its own, even though something else was set.
PS:
I only see "rainbow"-Effekt when the PC boots, i.e. when Windows and ArmouryCrate are not yet active. But that is normal and has always been like that.
After Windows starts, the AuraSync setting is set automatically and the RGBs then show the set "Smart" profile.

My Asus motherboard also does the same when my PC locks

I recently submitted a message and completed the Google form regarding an issue with the Lighting Service, which is preventing the computer from entering sleep, hibernate, turning off the screen, and starting the screensaver. This issue needs to be resolved as soon as possible.

Unfortunately, it has been the case for some time now that ArmouryCrate keeps activating this "In-Game Lighting Effects" setting every time the PC is restarted.
It's really about time this problem was fixed.
