A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:

Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

Armoury Crate MUST run from Admin account, and NOT Standard account under Windows.

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form. Upload log file to your cloud service if too large then provide the link.
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple forms for the same issue).

10. Log in to the ROG Forum regularly and check your inbox in case there are updates for your case or more info is requested.

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

Aura Sync not detecting Nvidia RTX3080 FE. 

Tired Reinstalling the app, updating the drivers, even did a clean windows install once. Nothing seems to help.

No offense meant, but this app is the worst I've seen in over 30 years and it's from Asus. Don't you have the money to get programmers who can do this? Your hardware is good, but it's no good if the software is so broken that you only have problems with your expensive computer. In addition, you are forced to update, you are happy to use a version that works and then you are forced to install a faulty update, otherwise you have no access to your devices.

So many months and you don't manage to fix or retract your buggy update.

I can't find the new update (5.9.13.0 ) via Micosoft Store (Win10), I search via Micosoft store, but I can't find anything about Armory Crate. Why suddenly the detour via Micosoft store and not via Armory Crate?

I have now been offered an update for my mainboard via Armory Crate, but unfortunately this has not changed anything. Color change does not work properly, it keeps getting stuck together with the OLED mainboard display.

since this is a post to report with google forms, i will leve my take here

1. the update for core is push by ms store. 

2. no it will not appear is you look manually is 1. the new. if condicions are met or not being stop by external apps.

in order to have ac is a trigger (board or app) and core will download from ms store. 

App is fine. the question is why happens on you pc. 

In order to get the UPDATE to the new version a set of modules was updated board mouse aio etc. In 12\12\2024 MS store push the update to user that has the ac on the pcs. 

that is what need to be check. PLEASE read the steps above .  the exe  trigger \app will only give green light to proceed once all condiciones are met. and store will push it.   sorry for my repetive words.

Hello,

I have a ROG Strix G713 RM from 2022 and everything was working fine, until today when i started the laptop unplugged and unconnected to the internet and I get an update error:

Update error everytime I start the App

after this everytime i start the app I get this error, I already uninstalled it using the rog uninstaller and install it again but i always get this error, even if I check to skip this update when i start the app and the dashboard is like this, i can't change the GPU anymore or the Power Mode or change the keyboard lights

The app is not working and its in error loop, because there must be some temp file or command that is not going away during the several unnistalls that i already did, also its saying that is missing some programs
