A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.
Please Read First:
Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)
Armoury Crate MUST run from Admin account, and NOT Standard account under Windows.
DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:
1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE to submit a form. Upload log file to your cloud service if too large then provide the link.
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple forms for the same issue).
10. Log in to the ROG Forum regularly and check your inbox in case there are updates for your case or more info is requested.

How to record a log
First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

Before the Armory Crate update, everything worked without any problems.
I have made a video of the problem:

The RGB lighting (color change mode) and mainboard display no longer work properly.
The system also hangs/stutters, which you can see very well under AI Suite 3 and the RGB lighting (in the video).
Since the update, I have to open AI Suite 3 after every computer restart and change my fan settings because they are adjusted.
Under Aura Sync everything works without problems, but there is no possibility to adjust the mainboard display and less RGB settings than with Armory Crate.
What have I tried?
Uninstalled everything (Armory Crate with tool and Aura Sync)
Reinstalled Armory Crate, still the same error as seen in the video.
Then installed the latest version of Aura Sync, now Armory Crate can no longer display GPU temperature in the menu and on the motherboard display and the error from the video is still there.
Uninstalled everything again and reinstalled Armory Crate.
This time I installed an older version of Aura Sync (Lighting_Control_1.07.71).
If I now start Armory Crate, the error is as shown in the video, but I can set my GPU temperature mainboard display again. I close Armory Crate and start Aura Sync, here I can now set color change and everything works again (color change, mainboard display and no more hanging/stuttering of the programs).
However, after every computer restart I have to open AI Suite 3 and select my fan profile because the fans go crazy after every restart, which was not the case before the Armory Crate update!

My English is not that good, but I managed to fill out the form and send it. The error description with 50 words was not enough, so here is my error description and what I have already tried better described. It is definitely due to Armory Crate version + updates again, before everything worked without problems.
I also don't understand why you are forced to install buggy updates even though you had a version that worked before! If you start Armory Crate and then want to go to the mainboard option, you have to do an update before you can get to the option. I don't want buggy updates, I'm happy if this Armory Crate works reasonably well. Back then I only had problems with it, was satisfied when it was updated and everything worked again and now problems again after updates and even worse. Please change this forced updating so that you can access your device options without having to install faulty updates.
So many people on the internet constantly having problems with Armory Crate. You lose so many customers with your software, no one wants to pay thousands of dollars to be annoyed with it, fill out forms, etc. Why do paying customers become product testers or software testers? People are paid to do this, we pay to help you save your buggy software. Your hardware is great, but your software is bad and has been for years. Also this mess with Aura Sync, Asus Dash etc. The programs were good so that you can avoid Armory Crate, but these programs are no longer being developed, so you have to use Armory Crate even though you don't want to. Too many running processes in the task manager. I understand that you are now trying to integrate everything into Armory Crate, that's good, but with your updates you are patching the program to death.

Hello.
Just a note, got 24H2 update to Win11 pro today. The 24H2 update went without problems. After restarting the computer, an update of AC started up, which hung immediately. Tried to run over WiFi but then got the error that internet was missing from AC. Removed automatic update of AC in bios and everything works as it should.

you can overlook this since will not affect anything. Is a windows issue what will push soon (prerelease). also the last board and fan expert upte did fix a little that last week. ( i did report that over 6 weeks ago)
There still another one that i am tracking also related to windows ( downloatool) That i also report this 4 weeks ago

Hello, I am using X870E Hero and 9800X3D. I am using the latest version of Armoury Crate. My problem; The processor speed on the screen of my Ryujin III Cooler is shown as 4000mhz. It is always at that number. The firmware of my cooler is up to date. Clean Windows 11 H2 version is installed.
