A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:

Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

Armoury Crate MUST run from Admin account, and NOT Standard account under Windows.

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form. Upload log file to your cloud service if too large then provide the link.
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple forms for the same issue).

10. Log in to the ROG Forum regularly and check your inbox in case there are updates for your case or more info is requested.

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

  • Founder's Edition graphics cards are not our products and therefore not supported in Armoury Crate.
  • RTX 2000 series graphics cards or earlier are NOT supported in Armoury Crate, please download Aura Sync software here.

* Please note that all updates require extensive testing on various systems with different configurations (virtually everyone has a unique system configuration) which takes time, and need to be released to every user around the world (updates may fail on specific systems which results in delays). Also, we understand that users do not want to see updates that frequently, and therefore, updates with multiple patches are generally packaged together then released at the same time. Unless a critical fix required, it is highly unlikely for your issue to be resolved within one or a few days. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Edited post to reflect my mouse. Keris II Ace.

EDIT: PROBLEM FIXED. There was an HTML update for the Keris II Ace released today that fixed my issue. Added another tab in AC that controls the lighting setting.

It’s quite interesting to see that previous reports have been left in the past, and now this post focuses on prioritizing the current version. Meanwhile, the issues reported in the previous version persist in this new version. I’d like to know if the issues I reported back then will ever be resolved, especially since they still exist in this latest version of Armory Crate.

Hello,

Seems my problem is resolved, but not sure what fixed it.

There was a new MBDll (?) version that was updated and after restart, the other packages updated correctly.

However, for the first time in a long time, I connected to my server directly, instead of through Windows Remote Desktop.

Not sure then which is the element that was blocking the updates of the other packages.

Anyhow, it's fixed.

TUF RX 7800 XT OC will not be recognised by armoury crate. System has been reset and armoury crate has been uninstalled and reinstalled twice using the official tool.

Issue Summary: Armoury Crates latest update is rendering my keyboard backlighting useless.

Laptop: ROG Zephyrus G15 (2020)

Processor: Ryzen 7

GPU: RTX 1660Ti(MaxQ Design)

Issue Description:

Whenever I reboot the laptop the backlight adjustment works, but when I turn it back on after leaving it idle for sometime and after screen has gone black or when I wake laptop up from sleep, I cannot change the backlight. If the keyboard backlight is on, it stays on and cannot turn it off and vice-versa. Only after I have restarted it, I can make it work normally back again.

So this issue has been there for a while ~1 year its just now that I realised Armoury crate is causing it, because when I uninstalled Armoury crate, the issue was resolved and when I turned it back on, the issue persisted again.

In my armoury crate there is no option for GPU Mode, please help me as others have this option only I don't have.Screenshot (14).png
