A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:

Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form. Upload log file to your cloud service if too large then provide the link.
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple forms for the same issue).

10. Log in to the ROG Forum regularly and check your inbox in case there are updates for your case or more info is requested.

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

@willianwojcik I believe these deletes are done by AI bots as I have seen the same happen for my posts a lot recently. Once these are removed, they get put into some type of manual review for approval. Once the approval happens, these posts will show up. Since there is a manual review process in place (all of this is speculation or guessing on my part) it takes a while for these posts to show back up. You need to be patient about the process.

I am only sharing my experience as I also truly don't know what is going on. Posts do disappear and later come back at least in my case.

@MasterC For my ROG Z790 DARK HERO board, I can no longer control the FanExpert settings properly.

I cannot click on FIXED RPM MODE for AIO Pump. It is stuck on this Smart Mode. Is there anything I need to do special to fix this issue?

Running the following command shows I do not have any Kingston or Patriot RAMs, please see below the details. I got this command being executed by Armoury Crate so I do not understand why wrong DRAM plugins are being installed.

@MasterC For some reason my DRAM manufacturer is not getting detected properly. I have the CORSAIR VENGEANCE RGB 192GB (4x48GB) DDR5 DRAM 5200MT/s CL38 Memory Kit installed. My system details are provided in Re: Can ASUS Support Fix Realtek Audio Drivers wit... - Republic of Gamers Forum - 1019556 thread.

However, Armoury Crate is detecting it as Kingston DRAM. See below

I believe "C:\Program Files\ASUS\ARMOURY CRATE Lite Service\HWComponentPlugin\DRAMManufacturerLib.dll" component is responsible for this incorrect detection. This file has no version information. Here's what my folder looks like

@MasterC With the latest HAL update to 0.0.7.0 for ROG RTX 4090 I have now lost the device page for this device as well. All I see is a spinner like the ROG Z790 Dark hero board.

after installation of Armoury Crate v3.2.11.2, i cannot update in update center the new release of ROG AZOTH 4.03.14. It gets stuck on "installing" and never finishes.. need this for my azoth rog keyboard. I cannot personalize oled screen, just need this tool for  it.

i filled google form. waiting for reply.

I sorted out my issue and i think is worth to mention here so you can update your troubleshooting guide.

above you mentioned, to install Armoury Crate Installer, Log, Uninstall tool, but one of the things missing that solved my issue for not updating some of the important ROG keyboard firmwares, was that it was missing the FirmwareAutoUpdate file for the RFI device! (OmniReceiver) and that comes on another different file that you did not mentioned on your list, i found it under firmware section on Asus.

Anyway, the first issue was solved by myself.

Now i have another boring issue, i want to configure/customized my oled screen of my Azoth ROG keyboard, but i can only see a full list of configurations including time, and some pc figures only when connecting via USB Cable or RFI usb key but as soon as i change to Bluetooth connection i lose all the customizations i did and while using bluetooth it is not possible to personalize the oled screen in the same way you do using usb cable or rfi, moreover the options you see to configure your oled screen are less than when you connect via cable. is this expected? if yes, at least i would expect my customization is not deleted when i change connection to bluetooth and then come back to RFI or cable connection.

PD: worth to mention that, till now, all components are up to date in Armoury, so i have the latest version of all components.

same issue and devices section is gone only shows macro and back like 7-8 seconds and gone again.

Armoury Creator shows this error message

Here returning with something new, this is already #4 of the drawbacks of the components, 1 VCar RGB ROG Strix LC GeForce RTX 3090 Ti OC Edition, 2 Board RGB Z790 Dark Hero, 3 Z790 Dark Hero the encoded optical sound that in fact no one has answered anything and where to send the problem and is seen by ASUS, and now it does not turn off the screen of the Ryujin III 360.

This problem made me delete the ARMORY CRATE with the uninstaller and reinstall it, and the problem persists.


I will attach the solution to the problem if you confirm whether it is a direct failure of the ARMORY CRATE or RYUJIN III component.
