A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:


Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

If you select all in Aura Sync menu to synchronize laptop and mouse (ROG HARPE ACE AIM LAB EDITION) "https://i.imgur.com/uaG6cRv.png", when you connect the mouse to a cable and return to wireless mode after recharging, the checkbox on the mouse will be disabled

After reactivating Aura Sync for mouse (after some time), the following errors occur:

I’m having an issue currently with the in game lighting effects. I click on that and it goes to load and it instantly crashes. That where I would go to make Corsair my primary option for RGB (which it’s in the correct order). Sometimes it shows the list on there it’s the icuesoftware.exe or whatever but it crashes before I can even think about rearrange the order. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled armory crate many times (mind you it shows in my Corsair program but there not responsive)(my MoBo and GPU) and the main reason why I initially got rid armory crate was because it wasn’t showing my gpu temp on my oled panel kept saying N/A (you guys just let out an update like 330 est not sure if it fixed that issue or not) and the option for the MoBo temp for the gpu wasn’t showing in the menu. I’m lost how to fix this issue. (My RGB not being controlled by my icue software) I know where to change the order of what program is in charge but again the in game lighting (game list) is crashing armory crate everytime)

The update I received today, 4.1.0.13, 12/18/2023
does not fix the tools menu issue.
The same with Rog Ruyjin where you don't mirror the data.
I do a delete of some images and save the settings in
Armory Crate. When you then do a cold start of the computer,
old deleted pictures comes up on the LCD display.

Otherwise it seems to work for me.

Tested set bios default, no change to the problems i'm having.
Yesterday the system came back busy in the routine for Rog Ruyjin.
Had to do a cold start of the computer, then it started up again.
Delete a photo and it comes back up after a cold start
Tools menu still not working.

i cant update my drivers from tools in armoury crate, every time i try i have this message after waiting to load drivers:

Processing timeout
The download update process is not yet
complete. Do you want to proceed?

even i choose Yes but it keep asking  same message again after a while, choose Cancel tells: Sorry, currently unable to retrieve available updates. Please visit the ASUS Official Support to download.

also i have this problem since last update, even in dark mode after booting system one side of my lighting components are on in purple color, i should change aura mode to another style then back to dark mode to fix this problem

Latest Fan Xpert loosing defined presets for particular fan. E.g. if Motherboard, DRAM and GPU sensors are configured for particular fan then after restart this configuration resets itself to default one (in my case Motherboard). There is also issues related to Windows Fast Startup. If Fast Startup is enabled then GPU, Motherboard and DRAM sensors disappears from the list of available sensors.

confirming latest AC 5.7.9.0 and ROG Cetra update has fixed the issue of unable to connect to Cetra.

Issues since updating on 2023/12/18 with ROG Azoth keyboard 2.4GHz connection and ROG STRIX 3090 defaulting to rainbow RGB rather than the selected solid colour. 

I can confirm the keyboard and USB dongle do not operate even on a laptop with previous version of AC installed.

@MasterC My problem with motherboard is solved by DEINSTALLING (from App-Entry or Add/Remove Programs) and installing with online-installer tool linked in your first post.

After that Version 5.7.9.0 is installed and AC want to upgrade to 5.7.9.1 But i'm happy with xxxx.0 🙂 

=> Motherboard/GPU and RGB-header are all there again 🙂  I hope now, that it will last longer on future updates w/o reinstalling whole AC again.
