A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:


Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple form for the same issue).

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

ROG Strix B760-A Gaming Wifi D4 Motherboard not recognizing anywhere in Armoury Crate except in main page.

I can't change RGB settings

When I run Auto Detect from Fan Xpert, the computer shuts down. When it gets to 60%, it stops all the fans. It shuts down because the temperature is over 90 degrees. What the f*** kind of app are you armory crate?

i can not duplicate on any of pc (i have 3 here . is not the app. did you send the log and fill the form?

I am unable to update Gladius III Wireless AimPoint to the newest firmware v3.00.05. AC finds the update, it downloads it and even "installs it" (I can even hear devices re-connecting in Windows), but in reality it stays on the previous version. I tried to repeat the installation several times, but the result was the same. The first firmware update finished without issues, though.

ARGBv2 devices not recognized properly.

My motherboard is a "Rog STRIX x670E-E Gaming WiFi" and computer case is an HAF700EVO.
I have connected all my ARGBv2 devices to the ARGBv2 extender-hub provided by the case, the extender-hub is connected to the first ARGBv2 header on the Motherboard, Right above the start button on the MB.

The ARGB devices are as following, listing devices per cable:

  1. HAF700EVO Front-Pannel leds: 2x6 leds.
  2. Rog Ryujin III 360 ARGB AIO cooler: 3x8 leds.
  3. HAF700EVO case fan (back 1st): 1x6 leds.
  4. HAF700EVO case fan (back 2nd): 1x6 leds.
  5. HAF700EVO case fan (bottom): 1x6 leds.

But Armoury Crate only recognizes 3 devices on the header in Gen2 mode, and they show as 6 leds each.
I switch the non-connected header 2 to Gen2 also and rescan, which renders different results on the 1st header on each rescan. (Sometimes showing 4 devices, sometimes only 1, with different amount of leds)

All leds function properly, they color cycle as they should on power on.
But they are not properly controlled by Aura-sync, especially MUSIC mode makes it very obvious.

Does ANYONE know if it is safe to download and install armory crate again? Today 1/24/24 at 2am Eastern US time an update popped up. Just like the last time that the Amory Crate update was infected from a hack about a week ago (thank you Bitdefender and HitmanPro.Alert)! The update downloaded, and then as the installation began Bitdefender began blocking MULTIPLE infections. THREE actually. When will it be safe to reinstall Armory Crate if you do it now during the peripheral recognition process it downloads info from Asus. THAT's when Bitdefender begins blocking. SHAME.

I have the Ryujin 3 AIO, can't adjust my display on the water block. Can't adjust my RGB. Jeez I can't do anything because I built an all-Asus machine, so I'm locked into garbage Amory Crate.

Can somebody tell me when its safe again. Thanks.

No idea if it is safe or not, but i just reinstalled Win11 again yesterday, for unrelated reasons, with a fresh Armory-Crate from the asus site, so...

After the latest ASUS HAL Central Update (Version 20240110) most of the time when I wake up my PC from sleep mode the lightning of my Corsair Dominator RAM freezes (iCue will show a red triangle). To get it working again I have to close iCue, kill all related Corsair processes and restart iCue. Anyone else?

i have this problem and not with this update! actually from the Beginning! my rams are Corsair too and whenever i wake up my pc from sleep this problem happen to me.
also i have a problem with drivers update tool that i explained earlier they told new version of Armoury will release this month (1/24/2024), I'm waiting and no update released!
