A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:


Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple form for the same issue).

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

I'm using a GX703HS laptop. Lighting updates via AuraSync causes the ini file at C:\ProgramData\ASUS\ARMOURY CRATE Diagnosis\AacNBDTSetup\NBDTInfo.ini to be re-written. When using busy effects such as "Rainbow," this can cause the file to be written hundreds of times a second.

This is what my ini file looks like right now:

It seems to be re-written every RGB success count. I've had this laptop for less than 2 months and this file has been written 17 million times already. Manually configuring the RGB instead of using AuraSync does not seem to have this issue.

Well... Upgraded to dual 7000 series graphics cards and still not shown in the app, last time I reported this it was for rx5000 series graphics cards... Bug in software...

But Tools menu error is still there. I think the developers have no idea what is causing the problem.

I have a ROG desktop (GA35DX) and I have the latest version of armory crate and everything that comes with it. 

I had some issues last month and had to do a full reinstall of AC. I used the official uninstall tool. Upon reinstall, I accidently installed the aura creator (which I have since unistalled). However, since then, the front LED strip of my case and my water pump no longer light up. I've tried every troubleshooting step I can think of:

1. Unisntalled and reinstalled AC again without aura creator

2. Gone into the bios and turned aura lights off, rebooted, then turned them all on

3. Inside crate, I've reset to defaults for aura sync, ensured that everything is turned on as far as lights go

Nothing works. The strip and the water pump just do not light up anymore. Is there something silly I've missed that would fix this?

Memory fixes are not relevant for me, can somebody confirm that new AC-Version like stated by @lordberti is released? And if it fixes Mainboard detection?!

After the new update of Hal-central 11/12/23, Z690-P WiFi and
Rog Ryujin II 12/12/23, menu selection tool stopped working.
There will be a timeout when the routine is to retrieve the data

Can be a temporary problem, because on this page a http request to asus location is performed, and maybe server or only location is not available yet. Assuming that asus-programmers used the right location URI 😉

For me HAL-Central update changed nothing, my Mainboard-not-listed-under-devices problem still exists. Sorry @Tommy_M dont tested Tools page yesterday but will do it for you today....

And there is no NEW release beside this 5.7.6.x at least for EU.... (dont know if asia or other regions get newer AC-versions earlier, so @lordberti just lied to us...)
