A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:


Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple form for the same issue).

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

Silent Mode is no longer silent with Armoury Crate 5.7.6.0.

The three different performance mode stopped working as they should since version 5.6.8.0. The issue continuous in version 5.7.6.0.

  • My device is a TUF FX 505DT Gaming Laptop from 2019. The past years, from 2019 to 2022, the CPU voltage in Silent Mode used to stay at around 690mV up to around 850mV. Now the voltage in Silent Mode is constantly over 1000mV.
  • The CPU speed used to stay at around 1366mhz up to around 2600mhz, and the fans used to spin at around 2300RPM up to 3300RPM, sometimes the fans even turned off entirely at around 40°C. Now, due to the increase in voltage, the fans spins at around 2700RPM up to 3500RPM in SILENT MODE, and they don't turn off, not even at 38°C idle.

I already reinstalled Windows 11. Drivers and updates installed. No apps running in the background. Silent Mode is working as Performance Mode. It's not reducing voltage, CPU speed or fans speed.

I don't have any Aura device installed or any other Aura software working on my device.

Please. make my laptop silent again. It's not a dust problem. It's not a thermal paste problem. The issue is Silent Mode not staying at Voltage 690mV like before, but at 1000mV most of the time. Fans used to turn off at 40C. Now they never turn off, not even at 40C in this winter days.

Well I am going to start with I do not buy products to be forced to be a beta tester. Have tried all the suggested fixes with Armory Crate and windows 11 23h2. My mouse a Harpe Ace while in wired mode Windows 11 23h2 will not give me control in Armory Crate no matter what I do. Wireless and Bluetooth the mouse works fine Armory Crate will control its ARGB. Yet the second it goes to wired for charging or I just want to use wired Windows 11 23h2 Dynamic Lighting will not give me control of the ARGB in my mouse back...

This is why I won't use SignalRGB anymore or pay them to be a beta tester for products they do not own. Buying all ASUS, buying a copy of Windows 11 I am not a beta tester expect my hardware to work as advertised and as it should out of the box. I should not have to beta test anything for both companies in this little test they have going on.

Carlos De Bernard was able to help me, you drag the Armory Crate in both the receiver and the mouse up to the top, here is the part that is messed up you have to have use dynamic Lighting on this device on... or Armory Crate will not control it, and on top of it you still have no control to check it off in the App the check becomes checked but its greyed out. We should not be forced into this little beta with MS to use our products as intended and have to use janky methods to use them properly because this is a beta.  Lastly to submit feedback to MS's little Dynamic Lighting beta you have to install more of their bloatware on your pc. No thank you, I got all Asus so I would not be in a beta and my stuff would just work.

When you dowload Anime Matrix animations availiable from the download more button.  Why do most of them not show up in the content library after dowloading?

Are you sure the downloaded effect is meant for your device? (See Device Type)

@MasterC Yes, I had filtered the animations by supported before downloading them.

@MasterC Just wanted to follow up on this, all the animations downloaded state they support my motherboard. Thanks.

Hello,

My RTX 3080 Founder Edition is no longer recognized by Armoury Crate.

Tried uninstall, reinstall, by using Asus uninstall tool. Nothing works.

Tried another software (Precision X1) and this one can control the RGB V shape part of the board, so it is not a  hardware issue. So I uninstalled X1 and waiting for a patch (worked on older AC versions). My GSkill RAM (4 dimms) and the MB (ROG logo and aRGB Headers) still recognized and works.

Please note that Founder's Edition graphics cards are not supported in Armoury Crate, since they are not our products. 

You can try a fresh installation of the full Armoury Crate package, (if it works, keep the install files handy).
