A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:


Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (DO NOT remove or delete manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at 30 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.
8. Complete the online Google form: Click HERE  to submit a form
9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple form for the same issue).

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

  • If you are having an issue with memory lighting effects on your X670E motherboard - it is not necessary to submit a form for now, ASUS HAL Central v20231128 (including KingstonDRAM HAL v1.1.28) was published, please update.
  • Founder's Edition graphics cards are not our products and therefore not supported in Armoury Crate, you may try Windows Dynamic Lighting as an alternative.

After update, aura sync doesn't recognize rams (xpg lancer blade ddr5 6000 mhz)

Clean reintall didn't work.

I have the same exect problem only with my GSkill Trident Z5 Ram

I was fairly irritated with AC however I ended up learning that my issues had nothing to do with it, it was to do with the microsoft store as the App gets downloaded through the store somehow (basically anything on the Windows Store gets stuck in Downloading state and never downloads).

If others run into this, open a powershell as admin:

1.) Get-AppxPackage -alluser *WindowsStore* | Remove-Appxpackage

2.) Reboot machines

3.) Get-AppxPackage -AllUsers Microsoft.WindowsStore* | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

then test downloading something on store, if it works, install AC

After update Trident Z5 Neo Rgb disappeared from armory crate aura sync, had to install gskill lighting software that I didn't needed before then it showed up in armory care, but not in aura create, tried multiple clean installs, bios updated to latest. If I uninstall gskill lighting software armory crate stops detecting my ram also, any way to roll back?

After update around a week ago, the RGB on kingston fury beast DDR5 6000 stopped working in sync with everything else through aura sync. It would be on constant rainbow mode, had to install Kingston fury CTRL software to control it but cant get near the same effect (gradient) as having it all synced through aura.

With this update, if I put my Aura sync mode to Dark and if I shutdown and turn it on again with fast startup enable (just restarting the pc doesn't seems to do that in my case), my Thor P2 1000W RGB is stuck to default Red and doesn't switch to Dark on startup. I had to go to Armoury Crate, switch to a color or an other mode, then switch to dark again. As far as I remember it did not happen before this update.

Funny thing is, if I set my color to a solid black (meaning Static>Black) instead of the Dark color, after a restart the Thor PII switch to the dark color as it suppose to on startup.

I think that  in "Dark" mode, Armoury Crate doesn't call all Rgb peripherals on startup up to at least make sure there are Dark. I think this is not the intended behaviour since Static Black work just fine and switch all peripherals to dark soon after startup.

The only thing I'm doubting is that I updated my motherboard bios not long time ago for my ROG x570 Dark Hero: (ROG CROSSHAIR VIII DARK HERO BIOS 4702), and I rememeber during the update that my pc restarted to an update of the LED firmware for the motherboard so It migh also be something to check here.

In any case, I think that Armoury crate should call the peripherals to set their RGB to black on startup when it was previously set to "Dark", just like any other mode or colors.
