A new Armoury Crate major release is now available. This is the official thread to report issues.

Please Read First:

Uninstall legacy Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (do not remove manually) - now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)

DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at least 60 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.
Forms from non-forum members will NOT be processed
Must post a brief description in this thread (do this before filling in a form) to receive status updates.

Must read before reporting issues:

1. THIS IS NOT A THREAD FOR GENERAL CHAT, please report issues ONLY (try to find related threads or create a new one)
2. Try to reboot the system after updates are installed, and check again.
3. DO NOT report issues if facing improper uninstallation or registry issues - please resolve first
4. Revert system to stock speeds to check if errors are caused by excessive overclocking (even if overclock was stable previously)
5. Verify and confirm issues before reporting (do not make multiple posts while still in the process of troubleshooting)
6. Post a brief description of your issue in this thread (less than 50 words)
7. Record and generate a log (change the extension from .LogE to .txt). Prepare some screenshots and photos if applicable.

9. Save the link to the form in case you need to revise or upload additional files (do not submit multiple form for the same issue).

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Avoid locations synced to OneDrive)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

Hey @MasterC, I am a software developer myself. Do you mind sharing some info on the subject so I can check if a firewall or something blocks ports? I will try debugging it using Wireshark. PM is welcome. I have privacy concerns over the remote connection sorry.

We found a third instance and performed a remote debug, so the root cause has been identified. We are pushing to incorporate the solution into the upcoming update due in around 2 weeks. 
We will not require remote access anymore, thanks.

Armoury Crate 5.6.3.0 installed, would not install HAL Update 05/10/2023 on a G513QY.  Found the standalone HAL installer AACSetup.exe under c:\programdata\Package Cache\, and just ran it without parameters, and it installed.  Rebooted, and I have my lighting options back and Aura device detected.

Installed AC for a few weeks and removed it after that. Found it "too heavy" with a lot of unwanted features such as marketing materials, advertisements. etc. I would suggest to remove all these unwanted features and provide a version of AC that just enable you to control the ASUS hardware and features. I suspected it was those unwanted features that require frequent upgrades/updates that made AC unstable. Just focus on the key features and make them stable would be good enough for us.

Anyway, after uninstalling AC, my system has been very stable. Just have to check the support pages, manually download and install the updates if they are available.

Having problems with aura creator: 
- First, I create a new color profile, CPU temperature, three colors. Works until reboot. After restarting, only two colors are used, no matter how I adjust the temperature ranges. It only uses the lower temperature range and the middle one, the upper range is ignored.
- next problem: I can no longer access the saved profiles. I can load them, but I don't see anything in the effect bars / timelines anymore. So I can't even copy the effect and load it into a new profile, I have to redefine the colors.

Extremely annoying that the only useful use of RGB doesn't work.

In Aura Creator there is no option for log file. You should make it clear again that you should use Armoury Crate for this. I doubted myself because I didn't find it on Aura Creator. I need to register with google to open a ticket? Are you serious?

Hello!
After reinstalling Windows 10, I installed drivers and software as usual. But this time Armoury Crate doesn't see my video card in Aura Sync, even though it was syncing fine before the reinstallation.

My motherboard is Asus Tuf gaming b450 m-pro 2
My graphics card is a Palit RTX 3060TI.

How do I fix this? I have already tried to update the files in the Update Center but it doesn't help.

armory crate only can control asus gpus and on some instances , very lucky, the founder edition on 4000 serires.
