Please Read First:

Uninstall Aura Sync software if already installed.
Always uninstall Armoury Crate using our uninstall tool (do not remove manually) - New: now included in the standard installer (right-click on icon in Windows Start Menu)
DO NOT delete files manually after uninstalling Armoury Crate
DO NOT modify the registry
Try to perform a power cycle to resolve lighting issues (shutdown and unplug power supply for at least 60 seconds)
Forms MUST be completed and submitted in order to be processed.

How to record a log

First, check the Record log box to start recording (Setting/About/App diagnostics)
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having (reboot if necessary - the log tool will keep running)
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice. (Sign out of OneDrive if Sync is enabled for the location selected)
Stop the recording
Remember to upload this log file to the Google Form (change file extension to .txt first)

I am experiencing a number of issues with ArmouryCrate v5.4.10 working with my ROG Flow Z13 as follows:

  1. When I load ArmouryCrate it will state that it is installing a new peripheral, then proceeds to download software for it and installs it, then prompts to restart (although it doesn't restart the PC).  Whn I manually reboot the Z13 and reload ArmouryCrate, the same thing happens continues to happen
  2. The icon for the "GPU Switch Tray" software that lives in the system tray and is used to initiate a disconnect of the XG Mobile unit from the Z13 seems to disappear in at least a couple of scenarios that I have been able to test - the first scenario is if you reset the Z13 to a base build of Windows via "Reset my PC", then DO NOT connect the XG Mobile unit, and go ahead and update the Nvidia Geforce drivers and software, after doing this you will note there is no longer any icon for the GPU Switch Tray software in the system tray.  The other scenario I have tested where this happens is if you do the same thing, but install VMWare Horizon software client - although this can be fixed by performing a custom install of VMWare Horizon, and opting NOT to install the Skype optimisation pack.  I have also reported this issue to VMWare so they can work on a fix.

I believe the impact on both of these issues could be lessened by splitting the GPU Switch Tray application away from ArmouryCrate - so if there is any issue with ArmouryCrate then it doesn't impact the GPU Switch Tray app.

I would appreciate it if this could be investigated in further detail please.

I've also composed a diagram of my hardware setup/layout in case it helps - caveat emptor - I don't have Visio and I'm not an artist 😉

Armoury Crate prevents ROG Zephyrus G15 (2022, G503RM) from entering  Sleep mode. Neither closing the lid, nor selecting Sleep from the Start menu works. In both cases the screen turns off, but the fans remain on and also some disk activity is shown. Uninstalling Armoury Crate resolves the problem.

After Armoury crate v5.4.10.0 update, keyboard backlights would go off and not turn back on after resuming from SLEEP mode or a reboot, or even after being turned off by some power plan setting.

Armoury crate does set Nvidia GPU Power Limit to 4294967.50 W on my Strix G16 G614JI ! Should I buy a Nuclear Plant?
