Armoury Crate V5.3.20 won't update Gladius [Resolved]

Can't get the update to work on this version. I click update and it does not work.

You can see the Gladius 3 in the device menu, but it is not on the Aura Menu because the device needs the update:

I have the same problem with Rog Chakram X
The last time I changed the usb port but this time there is nothing to do AC is unable to update the firmware

I tested an older gladius 2 origin and an extra gladius 3. None will update.

Sorry to hear you guys are having issues.

All is working well for me with the latest version of Armoury Crate 5.3.4.0.

Double check you have the wireless dongle connected to a usb port, the cable connected to your mouse and a usb port with the wireless switch set to 2.4GHz wireless mode.

Then try the updates.

According to the firmware update alert, you must connect the mouse via usb and also the 2.4 ghz wireless dongle and switch the mouse to wired mode using the button. But I also tried your method of switching the mouse to wireless mode while having the usb cable plugged in
By the way Armory crate sometimes shows error code 18 when firmware update fails

But it does not work. I tried all usb ports on my motherboard for wire and dongle but nothing to do.
The previous update succeeded after a battle trying different usb ports but this time no success.
Obviously there is an issue with Armory Crate, my system is clean, recently freshly installed.
It might be a good idea to offer a firmware installer .exe file for download from the mouse's support page.
All other features of Armory Crate work well on my system.

Still no change for me either. I have the mouse plugged in to the USB port and the wireless dongle plugged in as well. Never had this problem before. Had this mouse for months and updated with no issues until now. Same result each time. I would see a dialog box come up if FW needed to be updated stating the need to have the USB dongle plugged in. No such dialog box has come up in the last couple of weeks with this problem. Cekeu is correct. I have the same behavior here.

And the mouse is not working correctly because I can't access the software to improve the sensitivity settings.

Nate152 is correct, make sure:
Both the RF dongle and the mouse are plugged in (are you using the original cable? made sure the connector is fully pushed in on the mouse side?)
Switch the mouse to USB/Wired mode when updating.
