Armoury Crate V5.3.20 won't update Gladius [Resolved]

Can't get the update to work on this version. I click update and it does not work.

You can see the Gladius 3 in the device menu, but it is not on the Aura Menu because the device needs the update:

Hi Hopper64,

Make sure you have the wireless dongle connected to a usb port and the cable connected to your ROG Gladius III and a usb port.

You might need to set the wireless switch on the ROG Gladius III to OFF or 2.4GHz wireless mode.

Then try the update.

All is working well with Armoury Crate version 5.3.2.0.

I'm using three ROG mice.

I tried that but no change. I have updated previously and prompted to add the dongle with a FW update but not with just software only. I still tried it but it still refuses to update. No change in outcome. Thanks.

Tried my older Gladius II origin. Same result. Won’t update.

Have you tried the wireless switch to 2.4GHz wireless and OFF?

Does it give you any message about the update?

I tried the wireless switch and no change. I don't see an OFF button on this mouse. There's a switch for bluetooth, wireless, and a setting in the middle for the wired connection, but no off button. Nothing in the manual as well on an off button.

Yes my mistake, it would be wired.

So, you've tried with the switch to both wired and 2.4GHz wireless mode and neither get you to update.

Normally, you'd set the switch to 2.4GHz wireless mode, connect the cable to your mouse and pc and do the update in Armoury crate.

If it's not updating, I wonder if a simple restart of your pc might get it to update.

Try using motherboard usb ports for the dongle and cable. If you're using a usb-c port, try another usb port.

Tried a different USB port. No change. Tried Wi-Fi setting and wired setting with dongle in different ports. No change. I had an older gladius II origin. It won’t update that either. Same behavior.
