Hi all,
I have the same issue, the Asus core SDK doesn't update, it shows that is installing but at the end nothing happened, i receive the same massage, that Asus core should be installed.

Guys, if the Core SDK update cannot complete, it probably means that you don't have any compatible (ROG/ASUS) devices connected.
Connect the device and try again.

If your PC or notebook is the only compatible device, enable Aura Wallpaper and try again.
If Aura Wallpaper is not installed, go to: Featured=>Content Platform to pick one and download, the function will become available.

I don't have any other ASUS devices than my TUF A15 laptop, which is connected obviously. I still got the update and it can't be completed.

So from this update my Armoury Crate just died. I can't use it. Did a full wipe, removed it with the latest uninstaller + removed AI suite 3 too with the same, cleaned up all the remaining trash from Program Files /ASUS folders. Cleaned up all service leftovers but it's impossible to install it. Even if installation success just the start takes around 5-10 minutes and nothing working.

After update I lost FanXpert availability it said Error 2006 can't load page, than I lost my motherboard from the AURA part... I was able to install the clean app (Beta) from windows 11 app store and now trying to install the rest with he 1,77GB Full installer (what 10/10 failed with no network error) without the installation from app store... I had only one error during installation and that was OptionalHAL and AsIO3.sys missing what coming up all the time everywhere from this version.

Can't open AsIO3.sys. Failed with error code 2: System didn't found the file...
I see 3 versions under AXSP installed now 4.02.05, 4.02.06 and 4.02.12, the windows service points to the 4.02.06 what not really working on Windows 11... It's dead at "Starting" if I want to start the service manually it says error 1053, timeout...


I don't even have a Dashboard in app...

I am not able to restore or reinstall my Windows 11. Too many things configured and used 24/7... Is there any real working instruction? I am trying to fix this for a week now and spent 6+ hours daily...

Hi, I also get this issue.
AC app v5.1.5.0

On launch of app it shows the symbol to indicate updates are available. The update center shows only one update, the Asus Core SDK under Device Kit. v2.00.04 Date 2022/04/18

When you click install, the progress meter shows progress to the end, but it returns to allowing me to again click 'install' rather than clearing that update from the list.

Sysinternals Process Monitor has >60,000 events in the few moments that I run the update, but when I filter them by selecting the Asus AC software, the list is much shorter. I can't upload a CSV of the errors but I did include a PNG, each buffer overflow seems to be followed by a retry with a success... further down (not in the screenshot) there is a new thread created, and there's also some queries of winapps, and some file activity, but none that suggest the download and install proceeds, not that I've seen a successful update take place so I don't know what to compare it to.

I also don't have any attached devices other than 'the Asus TUF Gaming notebook' itself, and the Aurora LEDs of the Keyboard backlight, but I do like to keep the device up to date as you've made the hardware, so I guess it's sensible to install all the updates you make available. After a windows 11 restore I was able to install back Armoury Crate what now able to recignize my MOBO in Aura. Almost everything works fine, services are running, but not only FanXpert now the Motherboard page (TUF B660M PLUS D4) unable to load. Last week I spent on uninstall/reinstall/restore windows as after I used remover tool Armoury Crate services like ASUS COM Service Never worked again and I had no FanXpert for example.. It was more than painful to reach this point...

I still facing a lot of errors with that can't open file message, but at least the MOBO page under devices able to load now and I am able to configure the LED Strip length, Noise Cancellation.. FanXpert still not able to load (We are sorry. There's an error with the device page. The application is going to reload the device page now. (2006).. Is there anyone who knows how to fix that? Mayne this Cpp load problem?
