To update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, reboot and the update will run in the background automatically (do not open Armoury Crate for 10-15 minutes, and plug in the power for notebooks).

Before reporting issues, please make sure you have the latest software and firmware.
Be clear about the key issue. Mark/edit posts which are no longer relevant, tracking multiple posts in several pages not only takes time but the issue becomes unclear.

When reporting a new issue, include the following info:

1. Clear description of your issue

I currently have 2 issue with Armoury Crate

Issue #1

As most people reported, after Armoury Crate 4.2.10 update, the "Panel Overdrive (3ms)" button for my laptop seems to have gone missing. I know people have found a solution by reinstalling the "RefreshRateService" to the latest, but I am not confident enough to personally uninstall and reinstall that, so I hope that an update will be pushed out to fix this issue.

Issue #2

Due to some windows problem I encounter, I have re-imaged my laptop back to the state where the Armoury Crate Software was in version 4.1.6.0. I am currently facing an issue where the update for "ASUS Framework Service" & "Asus Core SDK" does not want to update.

I have restarted multiple times, but it always errors out when updating. From what I noticed, this caused my laptop to currently have a missing process of "ArmourySwAgent"

Another note where I am not sure its worth mentioning, is that during the period of updating from Armoury Crate version 4.1.6.0 to version 4.2.10, I had faced a installation error during the update installation of "GameVisual", but the whole Armoury Crate eventually updated after the error screen.

I am currently hoping someone or the asus team could help me on these issues. Thank you.

Hi, I'm not sure if that's an issue or not I but noticed that Armoury crate (or something related to it) always makes the WMI provider host run in the background. It doesn't use a lot of cpu (less than 1%), but if I restart the service it goes back to 0%.

hey there. after updating win10. Cpu got stuck on 798 hz , the fix was to restart with power cord out, then after loading up connect the power again.
than after more updating wind10 and armory Create .the Problem: when the laptop awake from sleep the cpu goes down to 0.2Hz and the fan goes off.
which make the computer to run very hot and freez .The only way to turn it of is by long press on the power key and let it cool down.

it seems a Voltage management problem

any Fix?

assigned aura colour. When I log into Armory, all RGB items are selected, I have to click the Aura Effects tab and they automatically revert to the colour I assigned.

When I shut down my pc (every night) the lighting freezes with aura effects "pattern"
Upon start up and log in, I have to open armory crate and move the slider slow/fast to get it moving again.
no problems at all untill shutdown/restart.
I have fast start up turned off in windows settings.
Hope this can be fixed soon.

Hello, Since I updated to Windows 11 it has this problem reading CPU and Memory frequencies. It is not a hardware problem because the Oled screen reads correctly the frequencies of the CPU and the bios of the MB reads correctly the frequencies CPU and DDR4. my CPU with ai-overclocking is at 4500 and my RAM is in XMP at 3200 mhz
