A new major update is being rolled out. There are several improvement and new features, many of the issues reported have also been fixed.

Suggest to uninstall Aura Sync software if already installed.

To update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, reboot and the update will run in the background automatically (do not open Armoury Crate for 10-15 minutes, and plug in the power for notebooks).

Before reporting issues, please make sure you have the latest software and firmware.
Be clear about the key issue. Mark/edit posts which are no longer relevant, tracking multiple posts in several pages not only takes time but the issue becomes unclear.

When reporting a new issue, include the following info:
1. Clear description of your issue
2. PC / Laptop
3. Aura Sync products
4. 3rd-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software
5. Wired / wireless connection
6. Reinstalled Windows?
7. Windows version & build
8. Previous version of firmware or software that worked as expected
9. Any screenshots of the issue
10. Use our log collection function: Settings=>About=>App diagnostics
Please provide a log, it's much easier to provide fixes if we can replicate as accurately as possible.

NEW - When your issue has already been reported
To make reporting easier for you, if you see another member post the same issue you are experiencing:
1. Simply reply and add your name at the bottom of the post. (If someone else has already replied, then reply to that post and add your name to the list)
2. Record and generate a log.
3. Private message me and include the following:
a. The post link at the top right of your post (copy and paste the link)

Log Collection Tool - Instructions
First, check the Record log box to start recording
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice.
Stop the recording

Even though the log file is encrypted, share the log file with me by PM (provide link to file in cloud).

Many issues have been posted previously, but a very small percentage of people have PM'd me their log. If in doubt, just send a log and remember to record first. If the issue is after shutdown: provide a log for before shutdown and one after (2 logs). Thanks everyone!

Armoury Crate on tools > Bios (*update)

is not showing latest version available for ASUS STRIX Z590-I Gaming

latest version (showing on webpage Version 1007 (2021/07/24 )

latest version (showing on Armoury Crate Version 0605 (2021/03/24 )

many version came after 0605 (what is shown on Armoury Crate)

1. On armoury crate or aura sync it comes up as no devices detected.
2. Custom build, ROG x570 gaming f, 5800x, MSI 2070 super gaming x trio, 32gb@3600 trident z rgb
3. Aura compatible products, x570 gaming f, trident z rgb ram, phanteks drgb fans.
4. Razer synapse, ICUE and HyperX NGenuity
5. Wired for both keyboard and mouse
6. Yes a couple months ago and now on windows 11 through upgrade.
7. Edition Windows 11 Pro, 21H2, 22000.348
8. No previous versions

Latest stuff, just installed.

I can't control my GPU RGB like before I updated the software. I used to be able to make the RGB runs in rainbow mode. Now it's changing colors but only one color for the whole GPU, all light nodes.

I can no longer access the Keyboard settings page. This has been happening for the past year. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Windows.

1. The keyboard device page isn't loading. Getting a "Page Error".

I'll give you something to try, its pretty easy and wont hurt anything. Open Task Scheduler and find ASUS folder. Find ArmourySocketServer.exe and end the task. Now go to Settings Apps Armoury Crate. Select Advanced Options. Click on Terminate and count to five. Now Repair it, and Reset it. Reboot the PC. Login and wait 5 or 10 minutes. Try launching Armoury Crate and if the page still wont load, load a different devices page first then going back to the other may work.

If that kind of fix does not work then the only other recommendation is a more thorough process like in the thread I started here:

One other tip. If you have a fast ssd system drive turn off windows prefectch. See my tips thread.

1. Clear description of your issue:
I can't update to Armoury Crate 5.0.10.0 which I got a notification for today. It says "Update failed. Installer faced with 0xa0100006 error. Error code 7: 0x80040902(Exit code: -1609564154)" everytime I try to update.
2. PC / Laptop: ASUS TUF A15 FA506 (Ryzen 5 4600H - GTX1650 Ti)
3. Aura Sync products: None
4. 3rd-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software: Only Logitech G HUB, I don't think it's related tho.
5. Wired / wireless connection: Not related
6. Reinstalled Windows?: Nope
7. Windows version & build: Windows 11 22518.1012
8. Previous version of firmware or software that worked as expected: Armoury Crate 4.2.12.0 (I can't remember the latest one cuz I tried to compeletly uninstall it using uninstaller tool and reinstall. There may be a never one but I can basically say the one before the 5.0.10.0 worked.

EDIT: Temporary solution: Turkish language was creating the problem I think. Switched to English and it works now. I think 5.0.10.0 doesn't have Turkish strings.

My GPU isn't shown in Armoury Crate nor do I have the option to setup custom/manual fan curves or overclock it or anything. It is simply not shown anywhere.

"Added FanXpert feature for Motherboard device type"

Still missing this feature for my motherboard. Has only Fanspeed TAB "Silence,Standart,Turbo,Full Speed ". Can't control and tune Fan curves like i able to in AiSuite.

I got the installer to work but Crate Software is a mess!
Motherboard (Maximus X Hero Z370) doesnt show up! Only VGA, Mouse/KB and mouse.
SW Agent shown as a window as well... What a mess!!
C´mon Asus, its been years and u havent managed to get Asus Aura to work properly and u dont seem to even
respond to people´s issues in here anymore.
