A new major update is being rolled out. There are several improvement and new features, many of the issues reported have also been fixed.

Suggest to uninstall Aura Sync software if already installed.

To update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, reboot and the update will run in the background automatically (do not open Armoury Crate for 10-15 minutes, and plug in the power for notebooks).

Before reporting issues, please make sure you have the latest software and firmware.
Be clear about the key issue. Mark/edit posts which are no longer relevant, tracking multiple posts in several pages not only takes time but the issue becomes unclear.

Include the following info:
1. PC / Laptop
2. Aura Sync products
3. 3rd-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software
4. Wired / wireless connection
5. Reinstalled Windows?
6. Windows version & build
7. Previous version of firmware or software that worked as expected
8. Clear description of your issue
9. Any screenshots of the issue
10. Use our log collection function: Settings=>About=>App diagnostics
Please provide a log, it's much easier to provide fixes if we can replicate as accurately as possible.

Log Collection Tool - Instructions
First, check the Record log box to start recording
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice.
Stop the recording

Even though the log file is encrypted, share the log file with me by PM (provide link to file in cloud).

Many issues have been posted previously, but a very small percentage of people have PM'd me their log. If in doubt, just send a log and remember to record first. If the issue is after shutdown: provide a log for before shutdown and one after (2 logs). Thanks everyone!

The updates aforementioned should be released sometime this week. The failed installation issue was reported several times on gaming laptops recently, and the upcoming fix should resolve your issue.

Veuillez fournir un journal, il est beaucoup plus facile de fournir des correctifs si nous pouvons reproduire le plus précisément possible.

Premièrement: J'aimerai savoir si la nouvelle fonctionnalité de AC pour l'écran d'accueil est AI SUITE III intégré à Armoury crate 4.1.6.0 ? Car les différents souffles de ventilateur était déjà dans AI SUITE III. Ce qui ma mis la puce à l'oreille.

Deuxièmement: J'ai vu plusieurs contournement pour résoudre le problème de AI SUITE III sauf que j'aimerai savoir si je désinstalle AI SUITE III et que je redémarre mon ordinateur en supprimant tout les fonctionnalité de AI SUITE III est ce que cela va résoudre mon problème qui est : Erreur DIPAWAYMODE CHAINE DE CLASSE INCORRECT, ProgID : AsusFanControlService.FanControlManager ?

J'ai aussi plusieurs points de restauration dans Windows 10 qui sont stable, est ce que je dois les faires pour revenir avant la version Armoury crate 4.1.6.0 ? Car je n'ai pas spécialement envie d'utiliser un point de sauvegarde si cela sert à rien et si Armoury Crate nous force à refaire la mise à jour 4.1.6.0.
Ayant déjà désinstallé l'année dernière Armoury crate et sachant pertinemment le temps que cela peu prendre pour le réinstaller et je n'ai pas spécialement envie de reformater mon ordinateur, car j'ai juste L'Erreur DIPAWAYMODE CHAINE DE CLASSE INCORRECT, ProgID : AsusFanControlService.FanControlManager.

J'en appelle à toutes les personnes qui auraient une solution infaillible et stable pour juste résoudre ce problème car cela fait 2 semaines et demi que j'attend un correctif et toujours rien. Je commence à désespérer.

PS 2 : MASTER ROG J'ai une question doit t'on désinstaller AI SUITE III pour pouvoir nous servir de l'écran D'accueil de Armoury Crate 4.1.6.0 ? Ou alors le correctif que vous allez Fournir nous permettra de le d'utiliser armoury crate normalement avec le Programme AI SUITE III Séparé ? Et est ce que ce correctif résoudra tout les problèmes que les personnes ont cité ?

I used to have this problem where the RGB wouldn't display properly on my 3080 through Armoury Crate software. For example - the "Rainbow" effect would just be simple "Color Cycle" and if I selected "Color Cycle" it's the same exact effect with no change.

After a software update a few months back, the issue was fixed and the RGB options would display properly such as "Rainbow" displaying a rainbow effect or "Starry Night" (The one I like to use) showing the blinking as if it were stars.

Recently, Armoury crate updated itself again and now I'm having this original problem once more. RGB options aren't displaying properly (Rainbow or Starry Night don't work at all, seem broken) and sometimes my RGB won't turn on at all upon booting up the PC.

I've uninstalled it and re-installed Armoury Crate but still no resolution and the problem persists.

Is anyone else having this problem? Any way to fix this or am I stuck waiting for another update?

A log would definitely help for something like this, I do not believe that I have received one from you. You mentioned that many people cannot get logs, what exactly is the problem? Is your Armoury Crate working at all? Just the recording or generate functions are not working?

As I stated before (With Screenshots of spinning circles into infinity) NO, Armory Crate would not load at all & neither would my realtek console. Also my fans were going crazy ramping up & down intensely.
I didnt get a response so I finally went ahead and removed all three programs completely.
1. Armory Crate (along with all its bloatware) using the AC cleaner
2. realtek drivers & console
3. AISUITEIII

I then reinstalled all 3 pieces of software & now most the time Armory Crate does open however Im still having several issues, Just to name a few:

1. PC will never go to sleep on its own because of armory crate (fast startup & hibernate are disabled)
2. My DRGB led headers in Armory Crate reset to default 120 leds in AC EVERY DAY (This issue has been present in last 2 versions of AC, still not fixed)
3. And just now Im sitting here watching tv while my PC is on the other side of the room running with screensaver (because it cant sleep, see issue #1) and
I hear my PC dinging, making the windows error sound like 30 -40+ times! in a row so I get up go over to my pc and move the mouse to disable screensaver
and Im met with this nonsense!!!

smh, so after closing about 40+ AISUITEIII "The server threw an exception" error windows (which is caused by armory crate cause it never happened before) I was able to close AISUITEIII. Ive seen others post about this error in this thread even before this latest update so this error/bug wasnt fixed either. Let me remind you that all these errors are happening after I uninstalled all the Asus software, used the AC cleaning tool, then reinstalled one piece of software at a time with reboots in between.

I will try to get you a log if I can get it to work but Im not sure what you want me to do, should I click on record and then just let my PC run
and NOT go to sleep & then stop it a short time later? Im just not sure how you want me to record my PC not going to sleep lol

So Armoury Crate is working now, but I still haven't received a log. Please just record and try to replicate the issues mentioned, then generate. When you send, just PM me the link to the file in your cloud storage.

8. Clear description of your issue
- Sometimes the "devices" dont show the connected hardware, leaving only "Macro" option available. Usually a restart sovles this, but it happens again eventually.
- The stats on the dashboard are not showing any data. CPU freq = 0, CPU temp = 0, Usage = 0, Fan = 0. I read around and someone suggested to install Intel XTU which I did and it still didn't solve the problem.
- When I click on one of the fan speed options, the option turns red, but nothing seems to happen.
- Initially, even the AURA Sync was not working and it was throwing service error. But I disabled "Fast Startup", reboot the machine and Aura Sync runs fine now.
