A new major update is being rolled out. There are several improvement and new features, many of the issues reported have also been fixed.

Suggest to uninstall Aura Sync software if already installed.

Core service updates:
1. Armoury Crate Service v4.1.5

1. Add new “Dashboard” for ASUS/ROG motherboard built-in system
2. Add “Manually update” function
3. Add ASUS account and product registration recommendation to build better service connection
4. Add a new pattern for Aura Sync - Rainbow effect
5. Enable multi-zone RGB keyboard light zone type
6. Support Microsoft narrator rule

Bug fixes & Enhancements:
1. Optimize component update process & Fix update failed issues
2. Enhance Aura Sync - Starry Night effect for few devices
3. Enhance GUI layout and UI interactive behavior
4. Fix Aura Sync “smart mode” effect issue
5. Fix Corsair DRAM Aura Sync issue

To update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, reboot and the update will run in the background automatically (do not open Armoury Crate for 10-15 minutes, and plug in the power for notebooks).

Before reporting issues, please make sure you have the latest software and firmware.
Be clear about the key issue. Mark/edit posts which are no longer relevant, tracking multiple posts in several pages not only takes time but the issue becomes unclear.

Include the following info:
1. PC / Laptop
2. Aura Sync products
3. 3rd-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software
4. Wired / wireless connection
5. Reinstalled Windows?
6. Windows version & build
7. Previous version of firmware or software that worked as expected
8. Clear description of your issue
9. Any screenshots of the issue
10. Use our log collection function: Settings=>About=>App diagnostics
Please provide a log, it's much easier to provide fixes if we can replicate as accurately as possible.

Log Collection Tool - Instructions
First, check the Record log box to start recording
Agree to the disclaimer
Replicate the issue you are having
Click on the Generate log data button
Save the log file to a location of your choice.
Stop the recording

Even though the log file is encrypted, share the log file with me by PM (provide link to file in cloud).

Many issues have been posted previously, but a very small percentage of people have PM'd me their log. If in doubt, just send a log and remember to record first. If the issue is after shutdown: provide a log for before shutdown and one after (2 logs). Thanks everyone!

8. The RGB lighting on my machine keeps randomly falling out of sync (I mostly use the Colour Cycle setting). It most commonly happens when starting up Steam or a game. I can fix it by turning my monitor off for a few seconds and then turning it back on, but it's still annoying.

There is another thread here that mentions issues with Armory Crate and iCUE integration. If you disable the
SDK and Plugins feature in the iCUE/General settings and then rename the plugins folder for iCUE to something else, it might fix some of ur sync issues. It was messing with my KB lighting on my asus each time i login from the lock screen after waking from sleep.

I'm pretty sure it's not iCUE causing the problem, as I was experiencing this issue even before I bought my Corsair RGB memory and installed iCUE to manage it. Thanks for the tip, though.

New update about armory crate, unfortunately no change. Click on devices and select my motherboard and there is a loading bar, that's it

the new update for motherboard did not fix the loading problem in this program (armoury crate) any one from asus can tell me how to fix this problem or i should keep waiting?? 894418944289443

It keeps applying pink tint every time I signed into my laptop for more than a year now. And I hope every new version will fix this.

It's software issue that make me cannot recommend ROG laptop to anyone now. If it is hardware issue, I can just replace a new one, but this problem is depended on update. All the feedback I gave It seems that dev did not care at all.

I updated to newest version, now my Armory Crate app refuses to detect ANY of my RGB components. I have ROG STRIC B550-F Gaming Motherboard, XPG x TUF Gaming Alliance RGB RAM, and several RGB Strips. NONE of them detected in the new update, even after uninstalling, removing any information of Armory cate from computer and then reinstalling. I Aura just REFUSES to detect my components. what is going on ASUS?!

sometimes BSOD and panel overdrive are greyed its a bug ??

my new motherboard isn't loading on the armoury crate and if i try to open aura creator it shows to try again after restarting and if the error message doesn't show nothing happens even there is no rgb fan working but they are running without the rgb.

Hello,

Any idea what to do as Armoury crate works well only when I change my account as administrator? If change account to standard user it doesn't allow to change device setting or go to dashboard. It neither show battery levels in notification area. If I change same user account to administrator type all works nice.

Definitely won't keep my user account as administrator type in daily base.

I would like to report about Anime Matrix option that can not show in the Armoury Crate.

8. Last 2 days i realized that anime matrix options can not see in the armoury crate. It has just shown "System" instead of Anime Matrix so I can not make any adjustment in there. Before 2 days, it was running well without any problem but suddenly not showing any more
