To update to the latest version of Armoury Crate, reboot and the update will run in the background automatically (do not open Armoury Crate for 10-15 minutes, and plug in the power for notebooks).

Before reporting issues, please make sure you have the latest software and firmware.
Be clear about the key issue. Mark/edit posts which are no longer relevant, tracking multiple posts in several pages not only takes time but the issue becomes unclear.

Hi.

I have ROG STRIX B460-H, and the armoury crate only shows gen 1 header and i have been told that even though the Gen 2 header is available it does not detect the attached RGB strips, any else has this issue?

I have made a complaint and they came back and said if you connect RGB fans it wont detect but i have only ws2812b strips connected.

I think the armoury crate is missing some updates.

3. I'm not sure if the drivers for my Sound Blaster Z qualify as third-party audio software, but they are the only thing on my machine which might count as third-party peripheral, audio, or lighting software.

5. Yes, I reinstalled Windows and it did not fix this issue.

7. Version 1.07.79 of the old Aura Sync software did not have this problem.

8. The RGB lighting on my ROG Pugio I mouse keeps freezing up. At some point after a reboot, the RGB lighting will stop changing and remain fixed at whatever colour it was at the moment it froze. This happens no matter what setting I use in Armoury Crate (Color Cycle, Rainbow, etc). The timing of the freezing is very inconsistent; sometimes it happens in under 10 minutes, other times I can get over 12 hours before it freezes up. I should also mention that rebooting does fix it, temporarily.

10. Log file sent.

Got a new symptom to report. A few days after this new row showed up in my AC software ENE_QSI_Loki_HAL 1.0.3.0, I noticed by sheer accident that if the Asus System Controller driver isn't fully/correctly loading up with the system start up that the AC software doesn't properly show the CPU Fan RPM speed. However, if it is, *assuming I wait a few minutes for my computer to load background processes* the AC software Does display the CPU Fan Speed. On top of that it seems that the the ability for the machine to keep itself cooled more accurately seems to be better as well.

Here's how I noticed this. One morning when starting up my machine I noticed that the charging capacity on my machine wasn't limited to where it ought to be. The MyASUS app struggled greatly to launch **AND** the CPU Fan speed wasn't showing up -- showed 0 RPM.

I restarted the machine, waited a few minutes and then tried again and now it's showing up! While it's to soon to say for certain that This Is the Solution to my odd issue -- I could see it making sense.

However there is one behavior that I cannot figure out. What installs the fifth row in the app? the ENE_QSI_Loki_HAL 1.0.3.0 row? When that shows up the product seems to work like it ought to -- assuming that the Asus System Controller driver launches appropriate.

Another behavior to report,. In the Device Manager next for Armoury Crate Control Interface And Asus System Controller Interface it states "no drivers installed." However in the My Asus App , normally if there is a driver not installed the App notifies me -- has a numeric digit next to "drivers and tools" (i.e "Drivers and Tools (1)" ).

Also, I've noticed in the past that if I didn't have the driver for either installed, unwanted behavior occurred. From the charging factor not staying at the capacity I had chosen, or the AC software Fan RPM speed not showing up correctly respectively for each driver.

Can anyone else replicate better App behavior given what I just pointed out?

One last thing to ask -- what is Supposed to "install" that last row, ENE_QSI_Loki_HAL 1.0.3.0 ? It doesn't seem that the app installer does it, if it's supposed to?

Finally, before system specs, on this build I used a bootable USB drive created from the Microsoft Media Creation tool. I've noticed previously that if I don't do that, for some reason up First Boot the machine Somehow has the Asus System Controller driver installed -- even if I didn't intentionally put it on there, as well as some strange traces of the Amoury Create Software found in task manager. Finally, I didn't use the drivers specifically provided by Asus, but rather though Windows Update.

Problem found on aura effect rainbow 4 zone for G512LI (i5), rainbow effect looks the same as the color cycle effect, I hope it can be fixed

hello, I'm having problems with the RGB synchronization of my XPG Adata memories.
The memory models are: XPG SPECTRIX -> AX4U320038G16-DT60

After some updates, RGB is not synchronizing with my Rog Strix B550-F motherboard. After a few minutes, the LED on one of the memories stops working, so I need to restart the synchronization in the Armory Crate application to synchronize to Rainbow again and even then, after some time, it happens again.

I have already reinstalled the application and also updated the BIOS after this started to occur and it has not been resolved. What should I do?

8. Clear description of your issue:
The product had been working fine for quite sometime. There have been no changes to the PC; e.g. no recent hardware upgrades or add ons. It just stopped working after some Armoury Crate update I suppose. I am unable to update the HAL and my RGB devices are no longer recognized in Armoury Crate, though interestingly they are successfully recognized in Aura Creator see screenshot.

Steps To Reproduce error:
a) Launch Armoury Create app
b) Click Update Center tab (Update is available notification)
c) Note TUF Gaming X570-Plus HAL has update available
d) Click Update button
RESULT: Error message:
Sorry, we cannot finish the file installation. Please restart the system and retry. (Error code: 12)

Lotta updates loaded and afterwards Armoury could only see the RAM, Aura, nothing. Tried uninstall/reinstall and now neither can see anything. Armory shows error code 12 when I try to update the HAL, AC shows error code 13.

Tried uninstall/reinstall both products and each solo. Cleared the folders and registry between install. Nothing works. Only thing I haven't tried is a complete OS wipe.

ANY help would be appreciated!

I just updated again my GLADIUS II ORIGIN mouse (and all the devices) hoping for a fix and I can't access it's settings, can't control lighting, dpi, nothing. It will say disconnected for about 30minutes. (SEE IMAGE)

It's been almost two months with no change, do I need to wait every time I start the computer for 30min to start gaming or working? A fully branded RoG top to bottom?

Do you want to drive away your fan base?

Can you give me the chance to use old software that work normally?

Until I have this solved I will delay my 3 next RoG purchases that I was really excited to get my hands on... 😞

Not sure if this will work for anyone else but here are the steps I took (they probably are not all needed):
I uninstalled everything from ASUS
I ran the uninstall tool
I started deleting everything left in the C:\Program Files (x86)\ASUS folder
As I found files that were in use and couldn't be deleted I figured out what services that needed to be terminated and killed those services. Then I finished deleting everything.
I deleted everything in C:\Users\icowb\AppData\Local\ASUS
I ran CCleaner and removed everything Asus
I ran it again, it found more
I rebooted and ran it again, it found more
I ran it again and it was clean
For good measure (might not have been needed) I rebooted again
I reinstalled Armoury and it worked
I reinstalled everything else from Asus I wanted
Huge pain, poorly maintained software. Very sad that Asus makes great hardware and chooses not to support it to the level it deserves to be supported.

depuis quelques jours je ne suis plus capable d accéder aux paramètres de ma souris pour les réglage performance ,Led, calibration etc...... mais elle est capable de se synchronisé avec aura sync pour les LED avec le reste de mon portable meme dans profile je ne la vois plus pour l inclure ou non sinon elle fonctionne mais ne plus avoir accès a ses paramètre est vraiment moche haha loll c'est arrive a la suite d'une charge avec le câble fourni d origine mon ordinateur portable ROG Strix G512LI_G512LI Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10300H CPU @ 2.50GHz windows 10 pro et toute mes mise a jours sont faite j ai l'ordi ainsi que la souris depuis 1 mois flambant neuf merci d avance si vs êtes en mesure de m'aider avec mon petit problème merci beaucoup 😄ðŸ˜Å*
