I just updated Armoury Crate to the latest version with the new interface.
For some reason when i try to open my motherboard device in Devices i get an error code. The Motherboard is fully functional and detected by the software and i can see temps and everything else as shown in the Screenshot but when i try to open it in Device it just does not work and i get the Error shown below, anyone can help? Or maybe it's a software bug and needs to be patched?Screenshot 2025-02-28 131411.pngScreenshot 2025-02-28 131422.pngScreenshot 2025-02-28 131432.png

Did you install the "Playground" thing? You may need to add that module to get access to Aura Sync and in turn resolve the noted error. The "assistant" and "contents" modules are NOT needed.

I forgot to mention that since i have no access and get this error when accessing trough device for my motherboard i cannot set my RGB like i can with my video card. I don't need aura sync installed to change the RGB on my GPU and i can simply change it in devices. I'd like to be able to do the same with my MOBO.

No it's not installed but like i mentioned in my second post i can access my GPU in devices and change the RGB even without it.

Edit: I installed it and it fixed the issue, apparently you can control the GPU RGB without Aura Sync but for the motherboard and to also be able to access it trough Devices you must install the Playground Plug-in. This makes it NOT optional.

Hey there - I had this exact same problem 2 weeks back and run a pretty similar setup:

I ended up doing a total un-install and clean re-install of Armory crate; then a full reboot and it now all works fine (less a single odd "Asus Windows Dynamic Lighting Plug-in" update that just appeared today).
-- For some reason Armory Crate was having a hard time updating to the new version/style...but a fresh install of the new version worked.

I know this seems a bit obvious but it did work from me and no issues since aside from the super minor lighting update thing that just happened today.
