Hello! I was hoping someone could assist me with my current issue. I own an ASUS TUF Gaming F15 FX506HE, and I've been facing problems for the past two months with Armoury Crate being blocked by Windows Defender. Additionally, I've encountered difficulties with updates, as every time I attempt to update, it either prompts a reboot or cancels the update. I decided to try uninstalling it, but despite my efforts, it seems that the firmware or software keeps reverting to a minimal state. I've gone through the complete installer that didn't work out either. I've repeated this over and over, and it's been at least two weeks since then. Currently, my laptop has started to overheat a bit, and I would greatly appreciate any support. I've searched everywhere for help, with no luck in those solutions. I hope I can find new ones here.
Im getting errors trying to reinsttall AC too.
I noticed sometime upon opening AC, its trying to install itself but weirdly everything works. After that instance, I keep getting random crashed and I checked there is no new minidump but when I check event viewer there I got the error and I cant remember the another location for minidump which show backgroundTaskHost = AC, so I tried to uninstall and reinstall but cant seem to reinstall AC anymore. I did all (use uninstall tool, full package, turned off windows security, run as admin) but no luck. I tried to start asComSvc but it cant. I keep getting that event during failed installation of AC so, yea, Im on my wits' end. Hoping this thread gets a notice
