Armoury crate error 4102 every time I try to install

Just bought a ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless keyboard and I'm trying to install Armoury crate without success. I'm continuously getting error 4102. I'm on Windows 10 still and have run the exe in Admin mode and added the exe to be allowed by my AV software and still same problem. Using ArmouryCrateInstaller 3.2.11.2.

Any ideas on how to solve this? Thanks

Hello Drezek

1) Use the Armoury Crate uninstall tool. In the link, click "Show all " in blue, the uninstall tool is the fourth download. - Armoury Crate - Support

2) Reboot your pc.

3) Install this firmware update to update to the ROG Omni Receiver. - ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless | Gaming keyboards｜ROG - Republic of Gamers｜ROG Global

4) Try installing Armoury Crate again, version 3.2.11.2 - Armoury Crate - Support

To update your ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless in Armoury Crate:

1) Connect the charging cable to your keyboard and a pc usb port.

2) Set the wireless switch on the keyboard to wired mode (switch set to the center position).

3) Connect the wireless dongle to a pc usb port.

4) Do the update in Armoury Crate.

It's all good now. After another install and getting the error I noticed the program was actually installed. I was able to open it and update all the software and firmware.

Hi, 

I have the same exact problem with my TUF K3 after trying to reinstall the program. I have run the uninstall tool and when I try to install it is either stuck or throws error 4102.

Can you please help to solve this?

Shalas95, Not sure if you've ignored the error and just checked to see if it actually installed. For me I didn't do anything different and just looked at my start menu and saw Armoury Crate was installed even tho I always got 4102 error.

Yes, I've tried checking if it is installed based on your experience, and I could also find the app, but if I run it, it just takes me back to the installation loop.

Today as I've turned on the computer it seems like it installed itself. This program works and doesn't work in mysterious ways, but it's a bit alarming it still has background processes even when it's not installed.

I am getting the same 4102 error, even armoury crate gear doesn't work anymore it's just loading endlessly and has bugged the oled screen of my rog azoth, even after resetting the keyboard it's blank with only battery level showing. AC Crate for the rog carnyx however is working without issues.

To fix Armoury Crate error 4102:

1. Uninstall Previous Files: Use the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool from ASUS and restart your PC.
2. Update Windows 10: Ensure your system is fully updated.
3. Download Latest Installer: Get the newest version from the ASUS support site.
4. Run as Admin: Right-click the installer and select "Run as Administrator."
5. Check Dependencies: Install pocket the latest Visual C++ Redistributables and .NET Framework.
6. Disable Antivirus/Firewall: Temporarily disable them during installation.
