Armoury Crate Development and Updates Feedback - I expect Better from a Flagship Product line

Hello Asus Armoury Crate Development Team, 

I am going to get straight to the point. Your process for releasing updates to your users/customers of this product is abysmal. I have 25 Years of IT experience, and am the Director of IT, just so you know where I am  coming from in terms of best practices, industry standards, managing user experiences, and ensuring when changes are released, they don't break things and upset/frustrate the user base.

You need to do better. When I pay a premium for Asus ROG products, I expect a premium experience, and to not have to FIGHT the software every single day to get it to do what the product is expected to do. 

I explicitly sought out products for the AuraSync Features, and when out of my way to Buy EVERYTHING I could that was available for ROG and aura Sync products. I mean, everything. Mouse, Keyboard, Monitor, Motherboard, PowerSupply, Case, Headset, Monitor. EVERYTHING.

I am sick of having updates to Armory Crate Software and its components every 1-2 weeks, and then having my Settings wiped to default for said components. I am fed up with being locked out of access to WORKING devices, and being prevented from making Adjustments to settings because an UPDATE is being FORCED, and gating me from accessing the same even though nothing is broken. If my PC wasnt connected to the internet, and wasnt checking for updates, I wouldnt Loose access.

I am beyond angry, with AuraWallpaper getting updates that cause it to become non functional, or logging me out so I lose access to Wallpapers I downloaded. I use and RBG camera to watch the background and coordinate the Smart Lighting devices so everything changes colors in sync. But this latest update has resulted in the AuraWalpaper failing to load correctly, until I reboot the system 3 times or more. This was not an issue 1 year ago. Everything seemed to just work for months. 

To be clear, I do NOT need troubleshooting help. I am perfectly able to uninstall, reinstall, update, and alter my system parameters to make these features function. BUT I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO.

Your development and update "philosophy" in practice, is sloppy and unprofessional, and your posture towards then users is blatantly adversarial.

So, here's my suggestion. Don't just fix your software, Fix your delivery method and attitude, so that you STOP inconveniencing users by locking them out of their own configurations unless they "get onboard". because nothing pisses me off more, than a fix that breaks everything I have meticulously setup.

Well said, we as customers deserve much better than what we are getting from Armoury Crate SE. It’s terrible every time there’s an update some part of the software stops saving settings. The latest update now aura sync setting doesn’t save like disable startup / shutdown or on battery settings sleep after 1 min, forgets settings on power off/on.
