This was tested on a new Windows installation BTW, so don't tell me to reinstall :
When I install Armoury Crate, before I reboot, it work fine, but only see my headset and my GPU (even after update, the HAL stay at version 0)
When I restart, I don't see any device anymore, and I suffer huge slowdowns, with the culprit being the Asus DRAM and HAL services
