Armoury Crate cannot save shutdown effect setting

Hello to all, I have a ROG Strix X570-E and I used Armoury Crate so far with no issues. A couple days ago (not so sure but possibly after an Armoury Crate update) the shutdown effect setting suddenly stopped working. I was using a static custom color and now it keeps reverting to rainbow no matter what. Even if I turn the slider to off, just closing and reopening the app (no restart needing), reverts to On and Rainbow. Tried to uninstall Armoury using the tool and completely reinstall from scratch but the problem persists. Armoury ver is 5.9.9.0, windows 11 pro, and running also Lian Li L-Connect software for my AIO and fans with no issues so far.  Any suggestions?

My bad the asus framework update came a bit later for me yesterday it didnt show any update today it did and its fixed

For me looks more like UEFI issue.

Just to confirm. the latest update framework for MB works. Thank you Asus team for quick reaction. Despite this, I think Aura Sync MB settings should be available from UEFI. The framework is too heavy for the system. Maybe you will take this into account in the next BIOS updates. It would be a small revolution btw. 😉 I believe that Asus team is the best and will come up with something as always. Best regards.

Edit: The issue still persists. For now, Aura Sync preserves the effect type after shutting down the computer, but changes to a basic color instead of a custom color.

Hello! My problem regarding saving shutdown was solved after asus framework update!! but armourysocketserver error still exists....

What a mess!  Mine was defaulting to the Rainbow when waking from sleep. After lots of searching for an answer I downloaded the older software (version is 1.07.84_V2' ) from the Asus site (https://www.asus.com/campaign/aura/us/download.php).  You have to click on the version number to download.  I was looking for the setting to save settings to shutdown but they were not there.  I started to wonder if it was because I am using the Proart Creator Z790 WIFI board, but couldn't find any more info.  I tested going in and out of sleep mode after setting with the older version and it started working.  My effect was there even when going in and out of sleep.   Next I uninstalled the older version and so far it is still working.  I haven't gone back into armoury crate yet as I'm afraid that it will go back to rainbow on wakeup.  At least I know that its possible now so there is hope for a fix.
