After updating Armoury Crate to version 6.3.6.0, Aura Sync no longer detects any connected RGB devices.
The message “Searching for connected devices” keeps appearing, but no devices are listed under Aura Sync.
All of my connected products are official ROG RGB devices that previously worked perfectly before this update.
Currently, I can see all devices listed under the device tab, but the Aura Sync section is completely empty and synchronization is impossible.
I have already tried:
Restarting the PC multiple times
Reinstalling Armoury Crate Service and Aura Service
Manually reinstalling device HALs
Running the Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool and clean reinstalling
None of these steps resolved the issue — the latest update seems to have broken Aura Sync functionality.
After the 6.3.6.0 update, Aura Sync cannot detect or control any RGB devices, even though they are visible in Armoury Crate individually.
Everything was working fine on version 6.3.5.x.
It seems this issue may be related to the new Aura Service or HAL compatibility in this release.
Please investigate or provide a rollback option until this is fixed.

Thank you so much — the solution worked perfectly!
I finally found the problematic files, and now all my devices are working just like before. I'm truly grateful for your help.
Here’s what I did to fix the issue:
C:\Program Files\FEIHUI\Aac_ZEERAY Hal\AacHal_x86.dll → AacHal_x86.dll.bak
C:\Program Files\FEIHUI\Aac_ZEERAY Hal\AacHal_x64.dll → AacHal_x64.dll.bak
After renaming these two files and restarting my PC, the problem completely disappeared!

Hello. I have not FEIHUI FOLDER on program files folder. I have Tuf Gaming B550M-E Wifi. The directory is this C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE_EHD_M2_HAL and the AacHal files are there. I'm gonna try this solution

The problem is sovled for the update but remains when I install Aura Wallpaper. This is solved turning off Dynamic lighting of Windows 11.

I'm having a problem with the current AC version 6.3.6.0: as soon as I connect my external ROG STRIX ARION SSD, the RGB lighting on my PC turns off, and the reliability history shows a crash of LightingService.exe, version 3.8.59.0.
Furthermore, no RGB devices (motherboard, graphics card, etc.) are displayed under Aura Sync.
Only the RGB lighting on the ROG STRIX ARION itself is illuminated, but it can't be controlled via AC because it doesn't appear in Aura Sync, even though the SSD is listed under Settings/Update Center:
Restarting the service doesn't help.
Only when I remove the external M.2 hard drive does the PC's RGB lighting turn back on once I restart the service, and Armoury Crate recognizes all previously detected RGB hardware.
Accessing the ROG STRIX ARION via the current Windows 25H2 build works without any problems; only the PC's RGB lighting fails.
The whole thing is quite strange.
All that remains is the hope that Asus will remedy this situation once again.

I too have this issue. Windows 11 24H2 with AC 6.3.6.0. The accepted solution in this thread doesn't work for me since I don't have these files in any folder.
C:\Program Files\FEIHUI\Aac_ZEERAY Hal\AacHal_x86.dll → AacHal_x86.dll.bak
C:\Program Files\FEIHUI\Aac_ZEERAY Hal\AacHal_x64.dll → AacHal_x64.dll.bak
I found aachal .dll files in these locations and renamed them to .bak , rebooted, and now my Aura Sync devices are back and working with AC 6.3.6.0
C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE RGB HAL\x64\AacHal_x64.dll
C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE RGB HAL\x86\AacHal_x86.dll
C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE_AIC_Marvell_HAL\AacHal_x64.dll
C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE_AIC_Marvell_HAL\AacHal_x86.dll
C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE_EHD_M2_HAL\AacHal_x64.dll
C:\Program Files\ENE\Aac_ENE_EHD_M2_HAL\AacHal_x86.dll

I didn't avoid reinstalling Windows (11). I Updated BIOS and reset it to default and then I make changes for example enabling secure boot and network stack. It seems I fixed.
