Armoury Crate 6.3.4.0 - "missing update" - motherboard missing

Everything worked fine in the previous version.

After updating AC to 6.3.4.0. my motherboard is missing in AC.

When I click the motherboard in Dashboard I get "You must first update your device to continue."
Same for Clicking on Fan Expert.
Under Devices Motherboard is missing (Graphics Card is there)
When I update under settings in AC there is no update shown.

I fully uninstalled everything (with Uninstaller), cleaned "Program Files" und "ProgramData" folders. Deleted all Services with "ASUS".

Reinstalled everything again. Same Problem.

There is no new driver on Asus Website, no new Bios (I’m on 1605) no new Firmware or anything else.

Motherboard is an ASUS ROG Crosshair x870E Extreme

It is definitely the new Version of Armoury Crate.

I having the same Problem with my new build pc, that ac will not show my mainboard in devices and the prompt with the update where no update is. Did someone has an idea?

I was searching for a way to get an older version of ac but was not successfull.

Try checking for updates at the Armoury Crate Update Center.

(My UI is German, I tried to translate here to English)

As described above, I did try to update through ASUS Armoury Crate -> Settings -> Update center -> Check for Updates.

Actually, I do this since I have these problems every day - there were 2 Updates since then, but they didn`t fix my problems.

There is also no Update in Windows Update or on ASUS Home Page.

There are further problems: (for me atm minor)
- Aura Snyc “Hue-Connection” “Search for devices” crashes the AC App
- Settings “Style of Device picture” does not work

I'm having the same issues. Just updated to 6.3.4.0 and I have lost the motherboard so i can no longer control the lighting of my motherboard or case and I have also lost fan xpert. I have Assistant fully installed and fan xpert is not where to be found. I have uninstalled multiple times and getting the same issues. No updates available in the updates section either.

Exactly same problem on my motherboard, ASUS STRIX B760-F.

I already uninstall the Armoury Crate with the uninstaller tool. Reboot, reinstall Armoury Crate then install the Playground Core, reboot again. The first time after installing, all got detected normally, but, after the next reboot, the motherboard is gone from Aura Sync. If I uninstall Playground Core then reinstall, it will detect motherboard again. But on the next reboot, motherboard disappear again.

I am using the Asus Rog Crosshair X870e Extrem with the AMD Ryzen 9950x3D. @Nate152 I have checked for Updates saveral times in the settings of AC. There are no Updates. 

I have also uninstalled AC with the uninstaller tool like @lzm_lzm did it with no success.

Why haven't we heard anything on this? This has to be one of the worst updates I have seen in a long time and nothing from ASUS? At least have a link to the old version so those of us who can't use their ASUS CPU coolers have something to fall back on...

Yes, the previous version would be nice.

I think, like so many others, they laid off their developers and did AI vibe coding the new version. Who needs developers???

So now they will be begging the laid off devs to come back. 😉

I think we gonna see a working new version in 1-2 weeks. 😉
