armoury crate 6.1.13.0 Aura Creator not working

After a clean installation of version 6.1.13.0, everything works fine, but Aura Creator does not recognize the laptop as a device. The strange thing is that it correctly detects the ROG Gladius 2 mouse, but not the laptop. Can anyone help?

in my case it recognizes the corsair ram modules but aura sync aint syncing with it. As always an useless update that ASUS pushes onto us and bricks our systems. Thanks for nothing ASUS!

Same here, the older version of the armory crate does work with my corsair ram module when I install the add-on plugin called "CORSAIR RGB Memory Plugin for ASUS AURA SYNC" , but today it auto upgrade to 6.1.13 versiona and my corsair ram RGB does not work!!!!

Hello,

For all Aura Sync issues, please first check that both a reboot and full power cycle does not remedy the situation.

Next, please find your device in Armoury Crate and ensure that "Aura Sync & Windows Dynamic Lighting" is selected in the Lighting Sync Control tab. Then click Windows settings.

Ensure that:

1. Use Dynamic Lighting on my devices is turned on

2. Compatible apps in the foreground always control lighting is turned on

3. Armoury Crate has priority over Dynamic Lighting Background Controller (select "Reset for all devices" if the option presents itself).

 

If these steps still do not solve the issue, it is highly likely that your system is still giving Windows Dynamic Lighting priority over Armoury Crate by default, despite changing it. If this is the case, type "run" in your search bar seated in the task bar, and open the Run program. Type in "regedit" and hit enter.

Expand HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Microsoft > Lighting, and select the providers folder. Change the values to give ASUS priority over WindowsLighting as shown in the image below:

This will now give default priority of lighting services to Armoury Crate and allow Aura Sync to take control over your devices' lighting.

Please return to Armoury Crate and in Aura Sync, check that your device is now detected and can be selected for Aura Sync (You may need to replug your device receiver and wait a few seconds).

Once your device can be detected by Aura Sync, it can be detected by Aura Creator.

I checked and Asus armoury crate is the 1st in the register, see image, and please find Crosair website for the plug in and steps to sync the RAM light.Please notice that pervious version of the armoury Crate works with plug in and can sync the light, and now RAM can be detected by armoury crate but light will not be synced.

Pervous version of the RAM light sync with this plugin only works fine and just after I updated to 6.1.13 verison of the Armoury Crate, no sync anymore but RAM still can be detected by Armoury Crate. Thanks a lot anyway.

No idea, I tried to contact Corsair let them know this issue but no email feedback right now. I am trying to get the heat sink rather than RGB on my dominator RAM.

I have the same issue, The two 16GB of Corsair RGB ram stopped syncing with Armoury Crate after the update to version 6.1.13.0

I tried the steps the Moderator is saying. In my case I do not even get Armoury Crate under Windows settings -> personlisation -> Background light control 😢

Anyways, I am sure we will be getting a new updated plug-in from Corsair and we will be notified soon here.
