Armoury Crate 5.8.6.0 / The tools menu still doesn't work.

Received multiple updates 02/16/2024 with an Armory Crate update to 5.8.6.0
The tools menu still doesn't work.
Otherwise it works.

The error is still there. Also with version 5.8.6.0. Even reinstalling from Armoury Crate didn't work.

After update to 5.8.6.0 I lose my Library Game, tried to add Games manually then blank and force close, update via MicrosoftStore was failed.

This is a known bug which will be resolved in an upcoming update. Thanks for reporting it.

It happened to me too. After updating to Armory Crate 5.8.6.0, my ASUS PRIME Z390-A motherboard completely disappeared! Uninstalling and reinstalling the program was useless. Now my PC has all the LEDs off. Before the latest update, everything worked fine. But now... Nothing works anymore! please @asus fix this problem!

I have managed to make it work.

1. Download the Armoury Crate Uninstall tool and get run it 
2. Once finished, restart
3. Download the basic Installer from https://rog.asus.com/armoury-crate/
4. Install it, you will notice that it will lunch Microsoft store, just let it do its thing
5. Once installation is complete, restart your computer
6. Open Armoury Crate
7. Try to log in to your account, it might fail, select the option to login with another account and just use the same user/password
8. Go to Tools and check it that solved the issue

I've done exactly this myself a number of times, but it hasn't had any effect. Even reinstalling Windows didn't help.

The file ASUSGCDriverInitialClient.exe only works in the background for 1 second and then disappears again (above Taskmanager), as if it couldn't find something or was blocked, strange even after a fresh Windows installation without a firewall, etc.
