Armoury Crate 5.0 Blinkin, Aura wallpaper Freeze

I just updated Armoury crate and Aura Creator, when I choose any moving color effect it freeze then blink and reset every second.

So I had to Choose static Color until this Fixed.

Can't Activate Aura wallpaper, When I try to Activate it Armoury Crate Freeze

Hi got it to work but have to maually start from desktop.

1. remove service from starting in registrie. Using regedit.

2.check there is no schedule for the service if so delete it. doesnt work anymore.

3.Make a shortcut for the aura wallpaper service, place it on the desktop.

4 restart windows when finished loading before double clicking short cut on desk top check in task manager that the service has not started. then double click shortcut to start service you can check this in task manager and you should see a small sysmbol in mini task bar.

5. Open armourycrate and set aura wall paper up if already not setup. now it should work ok.

down side is you have to start it useing the shortcut on the desktop. and no it doesnt work in the auto start folder or if you put it in schedule, why i don,t know yet

Ok, since the last update of Aura Wallpaper, everything works normally. No more loading error on the Aura wallpaper tab, I can also see the Aura Wallpaper Sevice from Task Scheduler donut56 mentioned

Update... all f..d up after a restart. Wallpaper isn't loading. Never Asus again! i switch to corsair - costs more but they know how to program working software

I guess people don't know how to use task scheduler and services control? Or if there is something in the four steps that is a problem how about a little detail about what isn't working or clear or happening different? I'm going to be busy for awhile.

At SCAR G533 it doesn't work - your method. Service stopped and wallpapers are like downloading, but they are not on disk. Running service Aurora Wall... freezes Armoury.

ps. It's funny that you spend 3000 euros on Asus notebook and then you have to fumble with system to get something working. For my son, I will choose Alienware.. At least they have better support .

hi, thanks. Can you confirm that both of the Services I include in the instructions were actually disabled? The only reason you would get a freeze is because one or more tried to start again. Check your application event log for .net errors.

I don’t want to confuse anyone, these services only need to be disabled and shutdown to download the first wallpaper. They must be turned back on normally after that and before activating wallpaper.*

In "Task Scheduler" I don't have Aura Wallpaper Service like you - just in "Services" Aura Wallpaper Service. I stopped and changed to off - nothing improved.

Time for one reply go to settings apps uninstall aura wallpaper but undo any disabled stuff first. Then try to add wallpaper again Â*
