Armoury Crate 3.1.0.0 Installation Failure - Internet connection

Hello All,

I've recently been trying to update to Armoury Crate Version 3.1.0.0 on my Maximus XI Extreme, but I've constantly been stuck in an 'Installation Failed' followed by 'Installation failed. Please restart the system and check the Internet connection status before retrying.0' (Yes, a zero after the period at the end.)

I've uninstalled Armoury Crate, all affiliated services with Revo, ran CCleaner to remove all of the old registry nonsense, etc. Uninstalled AiSuite III as well and pretty much anything and everything ASUS program related on my desktop.

So far, still no luck and I just ran the installer again. Same f*cking error. There's zero issue with my home network and I am using the 5GbE connection network port on my motherboard, directly into my ASUS AX router.

This doesn't make any sense whatsoever... does anyone have insight on how to get this sh*t working? It's so frustrating having a Ryujin water cooler, this overpriced motherboard, the ASUS power supply w/ LED display screen, and not being able to fully utilize any of it thanks to this god awful software not even functioning during installation...

From a system with no ASUS software installed, it now works for me using 13/08/21 (3.1.0.0) installer.

• Remove all ASUS software from your system, everything.
  
• Manually go looking for related apps, folders, reg keys etc. Delete them all!
  
• Run CCleaner, including reg scan.
  
• Reboot
  
• Download and run Armoury Crate Uninstall Tool Version 1.1.5.0 (2021/08/13 )
  
• Reboot
  
• Download and install Armoury Crate Version Version 3.1.0.0 (2021/08/13 )
  

That should now be working.
For me all lights sync (ASUS Mobo, ASUS GPU, G.Skill Ram) and no lights on shutdown thankfully!!!

There is however one problem STILL....
Motherboard no longer shows, so I can't independently set different effects for it.
This used to be available but now can only control GPU and RAM independently.

Please restore this functionality, stopped showing up several version ago.

That did the trick for installing:

Open regedit (by Windows Key + R)
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Installer\UserData
Search for the package in this case "Asus Framework Service"
Once you found the registry related to the package look for the InstallSource key in InstallProperties
Then open the folder that's in the InstallSource key and right click on MSI file in the folder and click uninstall


Armoury Crate opens, but still does not recognize my MB LEDs... A year ago everything was fine.

Thanks for a good analysis of the solution to the problem, but I do not have the folder itself for this registry.

Asus I'm officially done with your software, uninstalling it all again.

It was all working near perfect using v3.1.0.0.... auto update comes along brings it up to v4.1.6.0.

my armoury crate did a bunch of updates today. and now everything is working fine. It recognizes the motherboard again! and AURA Sync works!

Download Prerequisite Services frizen fiew mins and show instalation failed with error 102 .. How to resolved that ? i cant menage my fan system without this app ;/ is really mad

1. i used latest uninstall tool.
2. installed latest directx update from windows update.
3. installed AC from windows store https://apps.microsoft.com/store/detail/armoury-crate-beta/9PM9DFQRDH3F?hl=en-us&gl=US.
4. updated AC to 5.1.5.0 from AC update center.
