Had the same issue with model identifier with my motherboard. Unfortunately, once I got it to install, it made my motherboard not populate in armory crate anymore. Even tried reinstalling armory crate, and the same thing happened. As soon as I installed that model identifier update, no more motherboard. I would suggest holding off till the next update.
I have the same issue on my Z790 Hero system, but no problem on my Rampage 6 Extreme system. Uninstalling Armoury Crate and reinstalling it didn't seem to help, as after the so-called installation as re-start of the computer did the installation all over again, but still has the same problem.
I have the same issue on my Asus Prime X6570-E Pro Wifi. ]It took me a while to install Armoury Crate ( after a non relatred log capture software suggested from suopport). And now this error. Armoury/Aura can't find any device available .
