Armory Crate Reporting False Water In T Sensor Value Z790 Dark Hero

TheSkep

New Z790 Dark Hero. All software up to date. Bios version reported by Armory Crate ver.0507.

In Armory Crate the 'Water In T Sensor' value will inflate by 20 degrees C. The fan curve software included in armory crate reports correct values and adjusts the fan accordingly. I've swapped the sensor in use, I've double and triple checked the actual value using other software. This appears to be a bug in Armory Crate itself.

Hi @TheSkep

What AC version are you currently running?
Which MB BIOS?
Can you upload some screenshots?

Try not to run multiple polling tools simultaneously as this can cause erroneous readings.

Bios Version .0507

AC Version 5.8.9.0

All programs other than armory crate report the correct values. Armory Crate will initially report hte correct value, then increment the value by 20.

Example: Armory Crate

Not sure what's happening there. Beyond ensuring you're not running multiple polling tools and the issue doesn't correct itself following a reboot with just AC open, fill in a bug report form here after recording the logs.

What probe are you using?

I tested 3 different models from different manufacturers. EK Loop Connect plug, Alphacool Eiszaphen, and a phobia inline.

All the sensors function and report as expected in all programs on Water Out T sensor. They all report the correct temperature everywhere except armory crate on water in t sensor.

Ok, well if you do file a report let me know. This needs to be done so that the team can verify the number of cases and the severity. As above I'm not seeing this behaviour on that sensor
