Armory crate new update has broken many features I relied on!!! PLEASE FIX ASUS!!!

Dear ASUS Support Team,

I am experiencing significant issues with the latest version of Armoury Crate, which has resulted in the loss of key functionalities for multiple products. Specifically:

ASUS Azoth Keyboard: The control knob no longer provides the fan control option, which was previously available and functioning correctly.

Fan Xpert 4: The Fan Xpert 4 options are completely non-functional in this new version of Armoury Crate. I am repeatedly prompted with a "Retry" option, but the feature fails to load every time. As a result, I no longer have access to fan control options or presets.

This is incredibly frustrating, as it seems that with each update, Armoury Crate either fixes one issue while breaking another or introduces new problems that were not present before. For example, a previous update resolved an issue I was having, but the most recent update has caused these new problems, leaving me without essential functionality.

I rely on these features for optimal system performance, and the current state of the software is unacceptable. I urge you to address these issues as soon as possible and ensure that future updates are thoroughly tested to avoid recurring problems.

Please provide a timeline for when these issues will be resolved and consider implementing more robust quality assurance processes to prevent similar disruptions in the future.

i just updated mine as well today & is completely broken, wtf is this trash & how to roll back to the previous version (which idk which was anymore) ? ? ?

ASUS, stop FIXING things which r not broken ffs !

I too experienced some broken items when I updated to the latest version.  As a test I tried just launching Aura Creator and was informed by the software that some of the necessary services weren't running, however when looking at those services they were listed as running.  I then stopped the three it told me weren't running and restarted them.  After that I didn't have any issues with Armory Crate.  I took it a step further and changed the start up to "Automatic (Delayed Start)".  It's now been over a week and everything still appears to be working properly.

The three services I changed, that appears to have fixed my issues are "Asus Armory Crate Service", "Asus Aura Sync Lighting Service", and "ROG Live Service".

Same issue for me with my ROG Crosshair VIII Dark Hero Motherboard. Color scheme went back to rainbow mode, and I can't change it. Driving me nuts for four days now. What a nightmare update this has been.

TOTALLY AGREE. Armoury Crate was horrible to begin and I am at my witts end trying to get the Corsair Vengeance DDR5 to work again. Either I buy a different brand of RAM or try using SIGNALRGB instead.  

AC needs a total overhaul, the layout of the app sucks and I swear every time I open it something has to be updated.

same problemit doesn't recognize my asus rog strix RTX4070Ti and my motherboard Asus TUF Z790 plus- wififan expert 4 isn't working

Even after the last updates the issues are still there.

Like others said, i will use alternative programs for services that Armoury Crate used to do.

Interesting that on my laptop, which is also asus like the pc mobo, somehow it fixed itself & can use the program features. Maybe bcs is easier to make it work for predefined setups but for complex custom system there are issues with. 

ASUS always sucked at software skills, had in the past asus rog phones as well & omg it was the worst experience ever related to software, support, updates which even cause intreruptions in phone certain elements/parts.... so yeah looks like the spaghetti coding skills are still there in 2025. 

So for those still having AC issues & have nervs for it, just do a complete clean removal of it & try reinstall it new with the last update....
