AniMe Matrix on Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU604VY - not displaying in Armoury Crate

Device Model: Asus ROG Zephyrus M16 GU604VY-NM080X Anime Matrix

Problem Description:
I bought this laptop yesterday (on 23.09.2023). Same day I did windows installation and updates.
First run of Armoury Crate I saw a message: "To enable Anime Matrix please go to Update Center and check for updates" - or something like that. After the update, in Device section "Anime Matrix" is missing. When I try to donwload "Anime Matrix" scins from Content Platform -> Anime Matrix -> Get - it says: You are currently not connected to the compatible device or the device is not available for you computer.
I've tried to uninstall the Armoury Crate ussing official tool (https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/) running as Administrator and Install it again (rebooring laptop after each action) multiple times - no success.
I've contanced Asus Support. They approved that my device has Anime Matrix by serial number and model. The reccomndation was to reset BIOS options to deffault settings. I did it - no success. I've uninstalled and installed Armoury Crate again - no success.
In case problem will not be fixed - I will return the laptop to the store and don't buy any other Asus laptop.

Hello ruslannnnio,

Asus laptops come with windows preinstalled, any reason you had to reinstall windows?

Follow this video to reset your laptop to factory settings and applications.

How to Reset System in Windows 11? | ASUS SUPPORT - YouTube

Hi Nate152,

Sorry, I've meant that I followed Windows installation process, I did not reinstall it.

I've checked with USB Divece Tree Viewer  (port 9) is empty. I haven't found ASUSTek Computer ITE Device in any port. Do you think its driver or factory issue?

I will try to Reset System and post result here. Thanks.

Hi again,

Reseting System did not help. Any other ideas?

Thank you for trying.

Could you confirm the model of your laptop? I'm having trouble finding this model  GU604VY-NM080X.

I only see one NM080X and it is - ROG Zephyrus M16 GU604VZ-NM080X.

If you can post me a link to your laptop, I'll review the specifications.

Thank you.

Model version GU604VY-NM080X was provided by online store where I bought the laptop.

If I open MyASUS I see only this: GU604VY.312

I can provide serial number if needed and its secure to do this.

The serial number isn't needed, the model number should tell us.

But, when I type your model number in at the ASUS Download Center, it doesn't come up.

The only thing I can think of is, the store listed the model number wrong.

I might contact the store you purchased your laptop from to confirm the model number, or if there was a mistake.

I've double checked model version on the box under serial number: its also GU604VY-NM080X

If I search by serial number (https://www.asus.com/support/Download-Center/) it shows only this: GU604VY

After searching, I was able to find your laptop model and it says it does have the Anime Matrix feature.

Laptop ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 MiniLED (2023) GU604VY-NM080X, Intel Core i9-13900H, 16inch, RAM 32GB, ...

My ASUS showing GU604VY.312 shows you have the latest bios version, so all good there.

What I'll suggest is to try checking for updates again in Armoury Crate. The latest version of Armoury Crate is 5.6.10.0.

Try checking for updates a few times and see if the Anime Matrix shows up in the Armoury Crate device list.

Does the lid show any Anime Matrix animation?

I did check about updates, as I said, I've tried to installl/reinstall Armoury Crate couple of times, updating windows, reseting bios and windows, installing all drivers manully for model GU604VY - no success, Anime Matrix is not available in Armoury Crate. The lid didn't show any anamation at all. I've send already back to the srote. Really bad experience with Asus. I'm dissapointed that such expencive product brigns soo poor experience. (Three weeks ago I bought Asus Rog Strix Scar 16 - it had dead pixels on the screen and non working USB C to Displayport, also returned it.)
