Hi everyone,
I am new in the forum and I come to you as I experience odd stuff since 2 days with my setup: Ryzen 2700X with TUF gaming B450m-plus II, 16 Gb memory
I have already tried to do the update of all asus software, I tried uninstall and reinstall all, I reinitialised the computer, a pain, as I tried just reinstalling the last update but still have the issue, tried to reinitialise keeping my files without success so I when to a clean new installation of windows but problem still here...
At that stage I finally conclude there is an issue with armoury crate last update and/or AI suite 3 software... does someone experience/have experienced this issue, does anyone have a clue to sort it out?
I have the last bios version for my MOBO (4610) and I did not have any issue after bios update - more exactly I did not noticed any issue up to now... If their is something I missed in my bios configuration, I can't spot it...
Thank you for your help

get rid of the ai suite al together, that is nothing but useless bloatware, uninstall armory crate and search google for ai suite uninstall tool and asus aura uninstall tool, these will get rid off all the config files and registry entries related to those programs. then reboot and try armory crate again.

Thank you AfterShock,
I did what you said already but still facing the same issue saying no devices are accessible/connected... to be honest I don't need AI suite 3 as the fan control from the bios is efficient enough and never failled for me... I got more issues with Fan expert which never do what I want... But this is for the lightning, I mean I got RGB fans so I want to use is and I am looking for alternatives to armoury crate for this... By the way if you have any clue, I'll take it
Thank you again

This may help or it may not, uninstall armory crate and run the 2 uninstallers again

https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/14Utilities/Armoury_Crate_Uninstall_Tool.zip
Reboot
I went to C:\Program Files (x86)\LightingService after uninstalling the lighting service component and found a 3kb file called LastProfile.xml. I deleted it. I then went to the registry to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\ and deleted the LightingService subdirectory.
Same at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servic es\ (deleted the lightingservice fold
Reboot once more and then download the full armory crate package from
https://www.asus.com/supportonly/armoury%20crate/helpdesk_download/
Out of curiosity do you know how to get into the window services page? if you can check to see if you have asus com servie and asus update service, if they are missing then that might be why nothing is working.

Well no luck... I just wondering if it worth trying to reinstall windows - I mean fresh install, I know it is boring, and take times but I really think it is a software issue and not convinced finally it is an issue from Asus - otherwise I should not be the only one facing it and should have seen a lot of recent posts reporting the same issue, which is not the case - but more windows... this problem occurred after the big bug on 19/07/2024, not sure it is related to, to be honest but this is a funny coincidence. And as usual Microsoft will take a long time to fix any issue coming from this bug faced by little people as I am so it probably will take me less time reinstalling a fresh version of windows I guess...
Anyway thank you for your help

I guess it wouldn't hurt to wipe it out and start over, I've had that issue a few times when there was aurora sync instead of armory crate, I tried so many different things that I don't remember which one actually fixed it.
