Matrix 7970 green LED always on

Hey guys, my HD7970 Matrix (non plat version) has the green LED turn on at all times, (its not blinking, just solid green) and i assume the card isnt in safe mode becuase if I boot while pressing the safe mode button the LED blinks instead. Also i am able to open GPU Tweak no problem and i can OC correctly. When i put some load on the card the LED sometimes blink red, sometimes its solid red or sometimes it goes completely off.

I tried booting in safe mode and using GPU Tweak to recover the card but nothing happens, when i open gpu tweak i get the prompt to recover my card, saying it might take from 3 to 10 minutes, but as soon as i press OK (or YES cant remember) it says operation finished, pc will reboot. After reboot the LED goes once again to solid green.

I couldnt find any meaning for the green light other than safe mode, but everything points to the card not beeing in safe mode.

So far this is the only problem, if it is just asthetics i will disconect the LED for good, and be done with it, but i wanted to know if green LED means anythign bad.

Update, apparently now i cant even overclock, i can change Clock Speeds and Volateges on the GPU Tweak or MSI Afterburner, and everysoftware shows those speeds, but if i monitor the GPU while doing some work with it I see the Core Speed at 1000MHz and the Memory Clock at 6000MHz
so apparently the card doesnt OC, i dont even get the extra 50MHz from the Boost.

Ok, given that no one comes to help i will answer with what i found regarding the Clock Speeds in case anyone finds this
It is a problem with the AMD Gaming Evolved (Raptr) APP, everytime its running my Memory Clock goes to 1500 or 6000 MHz and my Core Speed doesnt get past 1000MHz no matter what, all I had to do was to close the program and everything is running fine.

I am just left with the LED problem, as far as i can tell, everytime it should be any other colour other than green or red it just turns off, so i am gonna assume its a faulty light and just that, i will unplug the LED becuase I find it annoying.

Hope this help anyone with a similar problem, becuase it seems no one steps up to even try and help.
