MATRIX 7970/280x CF in 1440/1600p - Experiences

Hello again, are there any other users of CF of Matrix cards 280x or 7970 in 1440p/1600p?
I'm experiencing major stuttering with Frame Pacing enabled in 13.11 V1/V3 beta drivers.
It's happening in any 3D Application every 2-3 seconds. I will try too record it and upload to youtube later.
Performance is a lot better without Frame Pacing enabled but still a little choppy.

Have anyone experienced it too? Is this famous micro stuttering in ATI setups?

There have been some reports of HD7970 matrix cards doing this - there are a couple of thread one I think you have just posted in? Sorry I can not help further as I no longer have the cards.
To help us help you - please provide as much information about your system and the problem as possible.

No, actually without CF gameplay is fine. Not perfect, but minor stuttering isn't bothering at all.
Issues are with CF setup.

Minor stuttering when using only R9 or 7970? Try both cards one by one... maybe one of them is causing issues and the other one is fine.

Tested them that way too. Cards are perfectly fine without CF. I have previously used 660Ti in SLI and must say that gaming experience based on BF3 was much much better.

Using R9s.

I don't know if you want to try, but I would check how it behaves after flashing 7970 U2 and U3 to U2/U3 from your R9 respectively and then crossfire. Just save it to file with techpowerup gpuz and then force flash with atiwinflash from console. Backup your 7970 bioses first!!

EDIT: Maybe I missundertood, U R trying to CF 7970 + R9 or do U have 2xR9 and also asking 7970 users for help?

2x R9 setup here. Got Double BIOS with U2/U3 versions.

What motherboard? Try setting both cards to gen3 / preset3 in bios ... Default gpu to pcie, render standby enabled, multi monitor disabled.

Are 2nd Radeon's fans running while in CF? Try disabling ULPS in registry.
