Matrix 280x new eyefinity mode?

Hello, I planning to get a Matrix 280x card, but I want to know if it will be like the reference models or the 280x DCII regarding eyefinity setup.

Reference models and 280x DCII support eyefinity without an active adapter (DP-DVI / DP-HDMI) because AMD is using the same nVidia ports layout (DVI,DVI,HDMI,DP).

But the Matrix 280x is using the old 7970 Matrix layout (DVI,DVI,DP,DP,DP,DP) and because of my monitors I need to use both DVI,DVI and one DP-HDMI adapter. So what I need to know is: do I need to buy an active DP-HDMI adapter, or will I be fine with a pasive DP-HDMI/DVI adapter while using at the same time both native DVI ports?

You will need active adaptors.
